Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmada yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde(YDYB) yatan bebeklerin annelerinde algılanan sosyal destek ile umutsuzluk düzeyi arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Materyal ve Metot: Bu araştırma ilişki arayıcı tipte yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri Şubat 2018 – Ekim 2018 tarihleri arasında Bitlis /Tatvan Devlet Hastanesi YDYB ünitesinde toplandı. Araştırmanın evrenini belirtilen tarihlerde YDYB ünitesine başvuran 191 bebeğin annesi, örneklemi ise belirtilen evrenden araştırma kriterlerine uyan 127 anne oluşturdu. Verilerin toplanmasında; Sosyodemoğrafik Bilgi Formu, Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği (BUÖ) ve Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği (ÇBASDÖ) kullanıldı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde sayı, yüzde, ortalama, pearson korelasyon, kruskall wallis, bağımsız gruplarda t testi, mann withney-u testleri kullanıldı. Bulgular: Yenidoğan yoğun bakımda bebeği yatan annelerin en yüksek düzeyde sosyal desteği aileden (24.37±4.60), orta düzeyde arkadaştan (13.94±8.10), en düşük özel insandan(flört, nişanlı, komşu, akraba, doktor) (13.40±7.93) algıladığı sonucuna ulaşıldı. ÇBASDÖ toplam ve aile alt boyutu ile BUÖ gelecekle ilgili beklentiler alt boyutu arasında ve aile alt boyutu ile BUÖ toplam puan ortalaması arasında negatif yönde zayıf düzeyde bir ilişki belirlendi (p<0.05), Sonuç: Araştırmada; yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde yatan bebeklerin annelerinde algılanan sosyal destek ile umutsuzluk düzeyi arasındaki ilişki anlamlı olduğu sonucuna ulaşıldı. Hemşirelerin bebeği yenidoğan yoğun bakım ünitesinde yatan annelere sosyal destek sistemlerini tanımalarının sağlanması, annenin ailesi, arkadaşları ve eşini sürecin içine dâhil ederek, annelerin sosyal destek sistemlerini güçlendirmelerine ilişkin bilinçlendirilmesi önerilebilir.

The Relationship Between Perceived Social Support And Hopelessness Level in Mothers of İnfants Hospitalized in The Newborn Intensive Care Unit. Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between perceived social support and hopelessness level in mothers of infants hospitalized in the newborn intensive care unit (YDYB). Materials and Methods: This research was conducted in relational descriptive type. The study was conducted between February 2018 and October 2018 in Bitlis / Tatvan State Hospital YDYB unit. The sample of the study consisted of the mother of 191 babies who applied to the YDYB unit at the specified dates and the sample consisted of 127 mothers who met the research criteria. Sociodemographic Information Form, Beck Hopelessness Scale (BHS) and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support were used to collect the data. In the evaluation of the data, number, percentage, average, pearson correlation, kruskall wallis, independent groups, t test, mann withney-u tests were used. Results: According to the findings of the study; It was concluded that the mothers who had a baby in the newborn intensive care unit had the highest level of social support from the family (24.37 ± 4.60), moderate social support from the friend (13.94 ± 8.10), and the lowest level of social support from the private person (13.40 ± 7.93).Multidimensional perceived social support scale weak negative relationship between the average total sum of beck higher scales and family sub-dimension and the future sub-dimension of the expectations of the future and family size beck higher scales with lower levels of score was determined(p<0.05). Conclusion: In the study, it was concluded that the relationship between perceived social support and hopelessness level in mothers of newborn intensive care units was significant. Ensuring that nurses recognize the social support systems of the mothers in the neonatal intensive care unit, including the mother's family, her friends and her partner into the process and the raising awareness of strengthening social support systems is suggested.
