Özet
Bu çalışmada, dünyada ekonomik öneme sahip bitki gruplarını içeren Apiaceae familyasına ait Daucus L. cinsine ait Türkiye'de doğal olarak yetişen türlerinin meyve anatomisi incelenmiştir. Flora of Turkey and the East Island adlı eserde D. carota L., D. broteri Ten., D. guttatus Sibth. & Sm., D. littoralis Sm., D. involucratus Sm. ve D. conchitae W. Greuter (endemik) olmak üzere 6 tür kayıtlıdır. Çalışmamızda Daucus cinsine ait olduğu belirlenen fakat florada kayıtlı türlerden farklı olan 2 yeni tür de çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Meyvelerin anatomik özelliklerini incelemek amacıyla merikarplardan enine kesitler alınmıştır. Kesitler merikarpların ortasından elle jilet yardımı ile alınıp sartur reaktifi içinde incelenmiştir. Kesitlerin fotoğrafları, mikroskop ve kameradan oluşan görüntüleme sistemi ile çekilip çeşitli ölçümler alınmıştır. Aynı zamanda meyve anatomisine ait genel özelliklerin gösterilmesi amacıyla her tür için çizimler yapılmıştır. Anatomik çalışmalarda, en belirgin ayırt edici özelliklerin vallekular vitta ve endokarp şekilleri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Belirlenen farklılıklar ve yapılan ölçümler sonucunda meyve anatomik özellikleri ile bir teşhis anahtarı oluşturulmuştur. Tez çalışması sırasında 2 ayrı lokasyondan toplanan Daucus sp. nov. 1 ve Daucus sp. nov. 2 taksonlarının bilim dünyası için yeni iki takson olduğu belirlenmiştir.

In this study, the fruit anatomy of naturally grown Daucus L. species in Turkey were examined. The genus of Daucus belongs to the Apiaceae family, which contains plant groups of economic importance in the world. In the Flora of Turkey and the East Islands, including D. carota L., D. broteri Ten., D. guttatus Sibth. & Sm., D. littoralis Sm., D. involucratus Sm. and D. conchitae W. Greuter (endemic) 6 species are registered. In the study, 2 species which were determined to belong to the genus Daucus but different from the flora of Turkey species were included in the study. In order to examine the anatomical features of the fruits, cross sections were taken from the mericarp. The sections were taken from the middle of the mericarps by hand with the help of razor blade and examined in the sartur reagent. Photographs of the sections were taken with the imaging system consisting of microscope and camera and various measurements were taken. At the same time, drawings of fruit anatomy were made for the purpose of showing all species anatomical features. In anatomical studies, it was determined that the most distinctive features were the vallecular vitta and endocarp shapes. As a result of the determined differences and measurements, a diagnostic key was formed with anatomical features of the fruit. During the thesis study, collected from 2 different locations Daucus sp. nov. 1 and Daucus sp. nov. 2 were determined to be two new taxa for the scientific world.
