Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Nevşehir'de yaşayan yerel halkın ve turizmin gelişmesinde aktif rol alan diğer paydaşların, turizmin sosyo-kültürel, çevresel ve ekonomik etkilerine yönelik algılarını belirlemek, aralarındaki benzerlik ve farklılıkları ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla yerel halka nicel veri toplama yöntemlerinden anket tekniği, diğer paydaşlara nitel veri toplama yöntemlerinden mülakat tekniği uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın evrenini turizmin yoğun yaşandığı ilçe veya beldeler olan Ürgüp, Göreme, Avanos ve Uçhisar'da yaşayan yerel halk oluşturmaktadır. Kolayda örnekleme tekniği ile 394 adet anket kullanılabilir şekilde elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde merkezi eğilim ölçüleri ve kümeleme analizi kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmanın amacına uygun olarak turizmde etkili olan 14 paydaş belirlenmiştir. Yapılan mülakat sonucunda 29 sayfalık veri içerik analizi ile çözümlenerek, kodlar ve temalar oluşturulmuş ve bulgular yorumlanarak rapor haline getirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, yerel halk turizmin etkilerine yönelik algısına göre 5 gruba ayrılmıştır. Algı ortalaması, yerel halkın Tolerans Modeli'ne göre turizme karşı“ilgisizlik”düzeyinde olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca Nevşehir'in Destinasyon Yaşam Döngüsü'nde“gelişme”aşamasında olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yerel halk ve diğer paydaşların, turizmin sosyo-kültürel ve ekonomik etkileri konusunda benzer algıya, çevresel etkiler konusunda ise farklı algıya sahip olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.

The aim of this study is to demonstrate the similarities and differences of the perceptions about the socio-cultural, environmental and economic impacts of tourism between the local people and other stakeholders in the development of tourism. For this purpose, questionnaire technique which is one of the quantitative research methods were applied to the local population and, interview technique which is one of the qualitative research methods was applied to the other stakeholders. The universe of this study is the local people living in Urgup, Goreme, Avanos and Uchisar, where tourism is intense. 394 pieces of data were obtained with convenience sampling method. In the analysis of data, central tendency measures and clustering analysis were used. Moreover, 14 stakeholders that are effective in tourism have been determined in accordance with the purpose of the study. As a result of the interview, 29-page data were analyzed by content analysis, codes and themes were formed and the findings were reported. As a result of the study, local people were divided into 5 groups according to their perception of the effects of tourism. The average perception of the local residents shows that they are at the level of“apathy”in tourism in the Tolerance Model. It is also concluded that Nevşehir is in the“development”stage of the Destination Life Cycle. It has been found that local residents and other stakeholders have similar perceptions about the socio-cultural and economic impacts of tourism and have different perceptions about environmental impacts of tourism.
