Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Serebral palsi (SP) hastalarında uzay terapisi etkinliğinin fonksiyonel durum üzerine etkisini araştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya dahil edilme kriterlerini karşılayan 20 hasta uzay terapisi ve kontrol grubu olarak ikiye ayrıldı. Hastalar basit örnekleme yöntemi ile randomize edildi. Tüm hastalara fizyoterapist tarafından haftada 5 gün toplam 30 seans uygulama yapıldı. Grup 1 (uzay terapisi)'deki 10 hastaya hastaya Bobath tekniği ile birlikte suit terapi uygulaması yapıldı. Grup 2 (kontrol grubu)'deki 10 hastaya hastaya aynı süre boyunca sadece Bobath tekniği ile terapi yapıldı. Hastalarda fonksiyonel durumu tedavi öncesi ve sonrası kaba motor fonksiyon ölçütü (KMFÖ-88) ile değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Uzay terapisi ve kontrol grubunda tedavi sonrası GMFM-88 total ve alt skorlarında tedavi öncesine göre anlamlı (p ˂ 0.05) artış göstermiştir. Gruplar arasında tedavi öncesi ve tedavi sonrası değişim karşılaştırıldığında, KMFÖ-88 yatma ve yuvarlanma ile oturma alt gruplarında uzay terapisi grubu lehine istatistiksel anlamlı fark (p ˂ 0.05) gözlenmiştir. Sonuç: SP rehabilitasyonunda Bobath yöntemi etkili bir tedavidir. Yeni tedavi alternatifi olan suit terapinin SP tedavisinde bilinen tedavi yöntemleri ile kombine edilmesinin fonksiyonel durumda gelişimin daha iyi olabileceği yönünde fikir vermektedir.

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects suit therapy on function status in cerebral palsy (CP). Materials and Methods: Twenty patients included in the study. The patients were randomized by simple random sampling and divided into two groups as suit therapy group and control group. All of patients were performed by a physiotherapist for 5 days per week.10 patients in group 1 (suit therapy) were treated space therapy with Bobath technique. 10 patients in group 2 (control group) were treated only Bobath technique. Gross motor function measure (GMFM-88) was used to evaluate function status before and after treatment. Results: Post-treatment GMFM-88 total and subscale scores showed significant increase in suit therapy group and control group compared top pre- treatment (p ˂ 0.05). The comparison between variation pre-post treatment scores; significant difference (p ˂ 0.05) was observed in the lying and rolling and in the sitting subscale of GMFM-88 in favor of the suit therapy group. Conclusion: The Bobath technique is an effective treatment in CP rehabilitation. Combining suit therapy which is a new alternative with conventional methods would improve functional state of patients with CP.
