Özet
Eğitim; müzelerin önemli işlevlerinden birisidir. Arkeoloji müzeleri için toplumun tamamı müze eğitimi açısından hedef kitledir. Ancak; bu tezde ortaokulların 5. sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersi öğrencileri hedef kitle olarak belirlenmiştir. Aydın Müzesi, Türkiye'de yaygın olarak bulunan arkeoloji müzelerinden biridir. Bu tezde müzede bulunan mitoloji konulu eserler kullanılarak örnek müze eğitim etkinlikleri hazırlanmıştır. Tez çalışması; iki çalışma grubu ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Birinci çalışma grubu; Ankara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Disiplinlerarası Müze Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı'nda müze eğitimi konusunda eğitim alan ve ya almakta olan 10 kişiden, ikinci çalışma grubu; Aydın İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı, Efeler İlçesi'nde bulunan ortaokullarda 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında, sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni olarak çalışan 17 kişiden oluşturulmuştur. Tez çalışmasında veri toplamak için doküman analizi ve anket (soru formu) teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Literatür taraması dışındaki veriler,“Soru Formu”aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Bu veriler betimsel analiz yoluyla çözümlenmiş ve elde edilen bulgular araştırma sorularına bağlı, analiz tabloları yapılarak yorumlanmıştır. Literatür taramasından sonra Aydın Müzesi'nde bulunan mitolojik eserlerine ve Antik Dönem Klasik Yunan mit, söylence, masal, efsane ve kahramanlık hikayelerine ilişkin ortaokul 5. sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersi kazanımları belirlenmiştir. Sonrasında örnek etkinlikler planlanmış, hazırlanmıştır. Tez çalışmasından elde edilen bulgular, müze eğitimi kapsamındaki sosyal bilgiler dersi temelinde hazırlanan örnek müze eğitim etkinliklerinin arkeoloji müzelerinde uygulanabilir olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Katılımcılara göre, bir öğrenme ortamı olarak müzenin sosyal bilgiler dersi kazanımları için kullanılması öğrenmede kolaylık ve kalıcılık sağlamaktadır. Ancak; özellikle sosyal bilgiler öğretmenleri müzede yapılacak etkinlikler için süre, izin alma vb. konularda aksaklıkların, zorlukların yaşanabileceğini ifade etmiştir. Müzede yapılacak eğitim etkinliklerine katılımın kolaylaştırılmasının müze eğitimini teşvik edeceği vurgulanmıştır. Araştırma; müze eğitimi ile için eğitim materyali ve uygulama örneği sunmaktadır ve ufak değişikler ve uyarlamalarla Türkiye'deki tüm arkeoloji müzelerinde uygulanabileceği tespit edilmiştir.

Education is one of the main functions of the museums. For the archaeological museum, the entire society is the target for museum education. But; at this thesis 5th grade social sciences students of secondary schools were determined as the target group. The museum of Aydın is one of the archaeological museums commonly found in our country. Sample educational activities were prepared using works with mythological reference in the museum. Thesis; was conducted with two working groups. First study group consists of 10 museum educators who have studied or are studying museum education in Ankara University Social Sciences Institute Interdisciplinary Museum Education Department of Education, and the second working group consists of 17 social sciences teachers, at the secondary schools in Efeler District, affiliated to Aydın Provincial Directorate of National Education, in 2016-2017 academic year. In the thesis study, document analysis and questionnaire (question form) techniques were used to collect data. The data outside the literature survey were collected through“Question Form”These data were analyzed through descriptive analysis and the obtained findings were interpreted by making frequency analysis tables depending on the research questions. After the literature search the works of Aydın Museum representing the mythological figures and the learnings of the secondary school social sciences lessons related to Antic Period Greek myths, stories of the myths and heroes were determined . Sample activities were planned and prepared afterwards. Findings obtained from the thesis study show that the sample activities prepared on the basis of the social sciences course within the scope of museum education are applicable in archaeological museums. According to the participants, using museum as a learning environment for the gains in social sciences lessons, provides convenience and durability in learning. But; especially the social sciences teachers, for the activities to be held in the museum, express that troubles and difficulties might arise in matters such as the time, permission and etc. It was emphasized that the facilitating the participation for the education activities promotes museum education. The sample activities present educational material and application examples on museum education and can be applied to all the archaeological museums in Turkey with minor changes and adaptations .
