Özet
Bu çalışma, portre ve otoportrenin gelişim süreçlerine bakmayı, bu çerçevede 19. ve 20. yüzyıl Avrupa Resim sanatında otoportreyi sembol ve sembolik form kavramı ile ilişkilendirerek irdelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra otoportrelerimde kendi imgemim sanatın nesnesi olarak nasıl biçimlendiği ve sembolik bir form olarak nasıl dışlaştığı sorularına yanıt aramayı amaçlamaktadır.

This project primarily aims to understand the historical progress of the portrait and the autoportrait, to examine autuportrait in 19th and 20th century European art, linking it to the concepts of symbol and symbolic form. Moreover, Its secondary aim is to show how my imagery is formed as an object of art in my autoportraits and how it is externalized as a symbolic form.
