ABSTRACT“IBNU'L- EMîN MAHMUT KEMAL: HİS LİFE AND WORKS”MA Thesis submitted to the Social Sciences of Ankara University PresentenMuhittin Öztürk Superviser: Mehmet Akkuş, Associate Professor Our subject is to do research about an important figure who lived between (1870-195!?). The author in his short life wrote about 50 works in many subjects including history, literature and biography. Our study consists of two chapters excluding the introduction. In the introduction, the characteristics of the period Ibnu'l- Emin lived have been dealt with. In the first chapter, I tackled the life and works of the author and tried to give the main points in his life. In the second chapter, I introduced the manuscripts and published books of the author. Besides, I have given his articles as a list. At the end of our study some documents and pictures of the author has been given. In the conclusion I have given some information about the press life of the author, his relatives and his days spend as a civil servant. We believe that the author will be much well known provided that his manuscripts be published. 130
