Özet
s t n/ ÖZET Bu araştırmanın amacı kendi kendine meslek incelemenin lise öğrencilerinin mesleki olgunluk düzeyine etkisini incelemektir. Bu araştırma, kontrol gruplu öntest ve sontest modele dayalı deneysel bir çalışmadır. Denekler Ankara Şehit Nuri Pamir Lisesi 2. sınıf öğrencileri arasından seçilmiştir. Deney grubu 14 kız ve 6 erkek, kontrol grubu ise 1 3 kız ve 7 erkek öğrenciden oluşturulmuştur. Deney grubu“Meslek İnceleme Formu”ile bilgi topladılar. Bu işlemin, hem öğrencilerin meslek planlama sorumluluğunu üzerlerine almalarına hem de inceledikleri mesleklerin gerekleri ile kendi kişilik özellikleri arasında bağlantılar kurmalarına yardımcı olacağı beklenmişti. Deney grubu ayrıca“Mesleğe Uygunluk Ölçeği”ni de doldurmuşlardır. Bu form deneklere 5 meslekten herbirine uygunluk dereceleri hakkındaki algılarını belirtmelerine olanak vermektedir. Deneklerin mesleki olgunluk düzeyleri Kuzgun ve Bacanlı(1992) tarafından geliştirilen“Mesleki Olgunluk Ölçeği”ile ölçülmüştür. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde tekrarlı ölçümler için kullanılan varyans analizinin özel hali olan Split Plott tekniği kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının öntest sontest puanları arasında deney grubu lehine.001 düzeyinde anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Bu bulgu kariyer rehberliği çerçevesinde tartışılmış ve psikolojik danışmanların meslek rehberliği programlarını hazırlarken öğrencilerin kendi kendilerine yapabilecekleri, kısa süreli ve ekonomik olan bu meslek inceleme yöntemini dikkate almaları önerilmiştir.

SUMMARY The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of self search for occupational information on the occupational maturity levels of the high school students. This experimental study was based on both pre-test and post-test model with control groups. The subjects were selected from the tenth grade students of Ankara Şehit Nuri Pamir high school in 1995-1996 academic year. The experimental group was consisted of 20 students, as being 14 girls and 6 boys, and the control group wad made up 13 girls and 7 boys. The experimental group collected information about 5 occupations using the“Occupational Information Form”. It was expected that this procedure helped students both to assume the career planning responsibility and to relate the occupational requirements with their own characteristics. The experimental group also filled in the“Occupational Compatibility Form”which gives the indication of the perceptions of the subjects about their level of fitness to each of the 5 occupations. The Vocational maturity levels of the subjects were measured by the“Vocational Maturity Scale”developed by Kuzgun and Bacanh (1992). Variance analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data. A significant difference at the.001 level of confidence was found between the pre-test and post-test average scores of experimental group whereas no difference was observed between the two scores of the control group.
