SUMMARY As a social being, man leads his life in a world of rapid growth and change. Due to the growth of the world the needs of man becomes more. The knowledge, the dexterity and the attitudes which have to be acquired increase and become more complicated. Turkey as a developing country, needs well-qualified human-beigns both in economic and social life. This need can be fulfilled by the help of professional training. Professional training is the education needed for the acquasition of the necesary abilities to be successful at a certain profession. In our country professional training began to develop after the Republic by the help of experts came from foreign countries and the Turkish students went there for training Rüştü Uzel, who partook many jobs in this field, hat great effect on the development of professional training. In this study an evaluation of professional training instituons and 1994 foucattonal years syllasus of“Painting granch, female vocational high schools”, which is one of the institutions giving vocational education, has been evaluate in this research. Based on the information required by this study, some suggestions are made on the Art Training Program. viii
