SUMMARY The aim of this study is to present, training in service and training before service, selection and adequacy of our school administrators who serves in secondary education. The research is made in search model. Secondary Schools of central district of province Van has been taken as sample. Data has been obtained through examination of the sources related to the subject and applying the inquiries that made up of open and closed ended questions to the secondary school administrators and'teachers. Questions of the inquiry are formed from the parts of individual information, training, selection and adequacy of the administrators. The inquiry B composed of 40 questions is applied to 38 secondary school administrators. The inquiry A composed of 43 questions is applied to 185 secondary school teachers. Required parts of the sources related to the subject has been taken and results of the inquiry have been interpreted by using the Chi-Square (x2) technique and percent value calculations. According to the result of analyzing that we have made from the data, examining, high school administrators from the point of administration formation, pre-service and inter-service education are not adequate. As they are selected to administration merit is not taken into account, high school administrators are also not enough in terms creating a positive environment in school.
