Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışma sleeve gastrektomi geçiren hastaların pre-operatif ve erken post-operatif dönemde kan lipid parametreleri ve duygusal iştah durumları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Bu çalışma Balıkesir Atatürk Şehir Hastanesi'nde sleeve gastrektomi ameliyatı geçiren 47 katılımcı ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmada hastaların pre-operatif ve post-operatif kan lipidleri, genel bilgi formu ve duygusal iştah anketinden oluşan veri toplama formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesi Mann Whitney U, Kruskall Wallis ve Spearman koralesyon analizi ile yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan hastaların 35'i kadın ve 12'si erkektir. Yaş ortalamaları 37.21±10.40' yıldır. Hastaların total kolesterol, trigliserid, HDL kolesterol ve LDL kolesterol değerleri post-operatif dönemde istatiksel olarak anlamlı ölçüde azalmıştır (p<0,001). Hastaların pre-operatif HDL kolesterol değerlerinin göre eğitim durumlarının, post-operatif total kolesterol değerlerine göre sigara içme durumlarının ve olumlu duygu ve durum toplam puanlarına göre yaşlarının anlamlı olduğu bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Hastaların post-operatif total kolesterol ve LDL kolesterol değerleri ile olumlu duygu ve durum toplam puanları ve olumsuz duygu ve durum toplam puanları arasında pozitif yönlü zayıf bir ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Sonuç: Çalışmamızda sleeve gastrektomi sonrasında kan lipidlerinin azaldığı görülmüştür. Çalışma sonuçlarımızı genelleştirebilmek için çalışmada hastaların beslenme alışkanlıkları ve hastalık durumları da göz önünde bulundurularak çalışma daha büyük örneklemde yapılmalıdır. Sleeve gastrektomi geçiren hastalar ameliyat sonrasında en az iki yıl boyunca belirli periyotlarla kontrole çağrılıp diyetisyen eşliğinde takip edilmelidir. Hastalar kişiye özel diyet programları ile sağlık personelleri tarafından desteklenmelidir.

Aim: This study was carried out to investigate the relationship between blood lipid parameters and emotional appetite status in patients who underwent sleeve gastrectomy in pre-operative and early post-operative period. Material and Method: This study was carried out with 47 participants who underwent sleeve gastrectomy at Balikesir Atatürk City Hospital. In the study, data collection form consisting of pre-operative and post-operative blood lipids, general information form and emotional appetite questionnaire of patients was used. The evaluation of the obtained data was done by Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis and Spearman Correlation Analysis. Results: Of the patients participating in the study, 35 were female and 12 were male. The average age is 37.21 ± 10.40 years. Total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels of the patients were statistically significantly decreased in the post-operative period (p<0.001). According to the preoperative HDL cholesterol values of the patients, the education statuses were found to be significantly higher than the post-operative total cholesterol values according to the smoking status and positive emotions and status total scores (p<0,05). There was a positive positive correlation between postoperative total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol values, positive emotional and state total scores, and negative emotional and state total scores of the patients (p<0,05). Conclusion: In our study, blood lipids decreased after sleeve gastrectomy. In order to generalize our study results, the study should be conducted in a larger sample, taking into account the patient's dietary habits and disease states. Patients who have undergone sleeve gastrectomy should be referred to the control group for a period of at least two years after surgery and should be followed up with a dietician. Patients should be supported by personal diet programs and health personnel.
