Özet
Schopenhauer'e göre insanlar prensip olarak ahlak konusunda hiç bir vakit ciddi bir tartışma içinde olmamışlardır. Ahlakın ne olduğunun pratik yaşamda bir açıklamaya ihtiyacı yoktur. Olaylar karşısında alacağımız tavrın ahlaki değeri genel olarak bellidir. Bundan doğal olarak çıkan sonuç bir ahlak vaaz etmenin kolaylığıdır. Bu vaaz ise hemen tüm toplumlarda ''Önce zarar verme ve elinden geldiğince yardım et.'' şeklinde basitçe formüle edilebilir. Schopenhauer bundan başka bir ahlak pratiği önermez. Ona göre asıl yapılması gereken ve güç olan felsefi bakımdan ahlakın temellendirilmesidir. Schopenhauer'de ahlak, teolojik bir mahiyet barındırmasa da mistiklik içeren bir birlik felsefesinin bakış açısından temellendirilir. Bu mistikliğin ve Schopenhauer felsefesinin temel metafizik kavramı ise iradedir. Metafizik temellendirme, tezimizde Schopenhauer'in ahlak felsefesinin teorik açıdan analizini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda yeter sebep ilkesi ve ahlaki motifler bakımından bir olanaklılık koşulu olarak özgürlük ve kendilik bilinci kavramları anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca filozofun ahlaki motif olarak ortaya koyduğu merhamet ve bundan türeyen kavramlar reel dünyanın olguları olmak bakımından belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Son olarak tezde etik-metafizik ilişkinin Schopenhauer'ci dizgedeki yapısı filozofun eserleri boyunca takip edilerek ortaya koyduğu ahlakın neliği perspektifi tartışma bölümünde ele alınmıştır.

According to Schopenhauer people have never been in a serious discussion on the topic of morality as a principle. There is no need to explain what morality is in practical life. The moral value of our attitude for the events is generally known. Natural consequence of this is the fact that preaching morality is easy. And this preach in almost all societies can be simply formulated in the form of“first don't harm and help as much as you can”. Schopenhauer does not offer any other moral practice other than that. According to him what is philosophically necessary and the real difficulty is to lay down the foundations of morality. Morality in Schopenhauer is founded from the perspective of a philosophy of unity that includes misticism though it does not contain any theological nature. The main metaphysical concept of this mysticism and Schopenhauer's philosophy is will. Metaphysical founding in our thesis aims to analyze Schopenhauer's moral philosophy from a theoretical perspective. In this context, freedom as the condition of possibility in terms of the principle of sufficient reason and moral motifs and self-consciousness are tried to be understood. Moreover, the concepts such as mercy and others derived out of this which are put forward by the philosopher as moral motifs are tried to be determined as phenomena of the real world. Finally, by tracing in the works of the philosopher the ciritical dimension of the identity of ethics – metaphysics in Schopenhauerian system on one hand and its discursive structure on the other hand, the perspective of the whatness of morality put forward by him are studied in the discussion chapter.
