Özet
Sanayi üretimindeki değişikler önemli ölçüde küresel ekonomik aktivitedeki değişiklere yön vermekte olup, otomotiv sektörü sanayi üretimi içerisinde yadsınamaz boyutta bir ağırlığa sahip olarak kabul edilmektedir. Dolayısıyla, iktisatçılar ve iktisat politikası yapıcıları otomotiv sektörünün gelişiminin küresel ölçekte teknoloji üretiminin ve innovasyon süreçlerinin öncüsü olduğunu kabul etmekte ve sektörün istikrarlı büyümesi ile sürdürülebilir büyüme ve iktisadi kalkınmanın yakalanabileceğini öne sürmektedirler. Bu çerçevede, otomotiv sektörünün arz ve talep dinamiklerini etkileyen faktörlerin zaman boyutu içerinde kavranması sektörel ekonomi alanında etkin iktisat politikaları üretilmesi ve makroekonomik dengesizliklere çözüm getirici iktisadi planlama anlayışının oturtulabilmesi açısından önem kazanmaktadır. Çalışmanın hipotezinin varsayımları sektörel büyüme ve kalkınma teorisi ile paralellik arz etmekte olup, makroekonomik değişkenlerin Türkiye otomobil sektörü örneği üzerinden ülkemiz otomotiv sektöründe geliştirici etkiler sağlayıp sağlayamayacağının testidir. Bu çerçevede, alternatif ileri zaman serisi teknikleri ile çalışmanın hipotezi test edilerek ileri zaman serisi modellerinin çalışmanın bulguları üzerinde değişiklik oluşturup oluşturmadığı 1994 Ocak-2017 Mart dönemi için değerlendirilmiştir. Otomobil sektörünü zaman boyutu içerisinde etkileyecek makroekonomik değişkenlerin etki yönlerin ve kayıtlı otomobil sayısı üzerindeki değişiklikleri açıklamadaki payını ortaya konulması suretiyle, hangi iktisat politikaları yardımıyla sektörün büyümesinin sağlanabileceği sorusuna cevaplar bulunacaktır. Bu tezde, üretilecek etkin iktisat politikalarının otomotiv sektörü kapsamında belirlenmesinin iktisat politikası uygulamasının da etki gücü ve süresini kısaltacağı kabul edilmiştir

The changes in industrial production have led to significant changes in global economic activity and the automotive industry has been recognized as having an undeniable weight in industrial reproduction. Thus, economists and economic policy makers acknowledge that the development of the automotive industry is the pioneer of global technology production and innovation processes, and argue that sustainable growth and economic development can be achieved with a steady growth in the industry. In this respect, understanding the factors affecting the supply and demand dynamics of the automotive sector within the time dimension is gaining importance in terms of producing effective economic policies in the field of sectoral economy and putting the economic planning approach that provides solution to macroeconomic imbalances. The assumptions of the study's hypothesis are in line with the sectoral growth and development theory, whereupon it is tested whether macroeconomic varables of Turkey can lead to significant on development of automotive industry. In this framework, the hypothesis of study is tested with alternative advanced time series techniques and it is also assessed whether alternative advanced time series model between 1994 January and 2017 March cause to changes in the findings of the study. There will be answers to the question of which economic policies can help the growth of the sector, by explaining the impacts of the macroeconomic variables that will affect the automobile industry over the time dimension in terms of imoact direction and weightiness. In this thesis, determining the effective economic policies to be produced within the automotive sector is assumed to increase the influence of economic policies and decrease their duration.
