Özet
Bu çalışma İlk Yıllar Programı (Primary Years Programme-PYP) onayı almış ve henüz uygulayan okullarla aday olan okullardaki beden eğitimi ders verimliliğine ilişkin öğretmen ve yönetici görüşlerinin incelenmesi için yapılmıştır. Çalışma 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında Ankara'da bulunan üç özel okulda görev yapan yönetici, beden eğitimi öğretmeni, ve İlk Yıllar Programı (PYP) koordinatörleri ile yapılmıştır. Bu Araştırmanın amacı, PYP' nin beden eğitimi derslerinde verimliliği ne ölçüde arttırdığı veya derse katılımı ne kadar arttırdığı, beden eğitimi öğretmenleri için PYP eğitimi gerekliliği, beden eğitimi öğretmenleri PYP uygulamaktan memnun mu, PYP uygulamaları beden eğitimi dersinin doğasından uzaklaştırmakta mı ve okul yöneticileri PYP programının beden eğitimi dersine etkisini nasıl değerlendirmektedir sorularına cevap bulmaya çalışılmıştır. PYP sorgulama programı öğrencinin kendi gelişim sürecini yansıtan ve bu süreçteki gelişimini gösteren, geri bildirimin önemini vurgulayan önemli bir eğitim programıdır. Yapılan bu araştırmada elde edilen veriler nitel analiz yöntemlerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uygulanarak, katılımcıların görüşleri betimsel analiz yoluyla değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda PYP uygulayan onaylanmış okullardaki beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin daha inanarak ve isteyerek yaptığı için PYP'nin derse, kendilerine ve öğrencilere olumlu geri dönütler sunduğuna özellikle beden eğitimi dersine katılımı arttırdığına ve klasik ders metodlarının dışında daha aktif bir ders geçirildiğine, adaylık sürecinde olan ve PYP deneyimi olmayan öğretmenlerin ise PYP programını bir yük olarak görmekte olduğu, evrak fazlalığı ve dersin işleyişini yavaşlattığı konusunda bulgular edinilmiştir. Yöneticiler de beden eğitimi dersinin özünden uzaklaşmadığı ve öğrencilere aktif yaşamda spor yapma bilincini çok daha farklı öğrenme ortamıyla ancak inanan beden eğitimi öğretmenleriyle gerçekleştirebildiklerini savundukları görülmüştür.

This study was conducted to examine teachers and administrators views on the efficacy of physical education courses in schools that have just been approved by the Primary Years Programme (PYP) or current candidates to implement PYP. The study was conducted with the coordinators of physical education teachers and Primary Years Programme (PYP) coordinators who worked in three private schools in Ankara in the academic year 2016-2017. The purpose of this research is to determine the extent to which the PYP has increased productivity in the physical education classes or how much it has increased the engagement in the lesson, necessity of PYP education for physical education teachers, whether the physical education teachers are satisfied with the PYP impelementation or the PYP is removing the practices from the nature of the physical education courses and how to evaluate the effect of the physical education lesson. The PYP questioning program is an important training program that reflects the learner's own developmental process and demonstrates the development of this process, emphasizing the importance of feedback. Participants' opinions were assessed through descriptive analysis by applying the semi-structured interview form of qualitative analysis methods considering the extent that the students were able to make active and healthy lifestyles with their PYP education in their lives by the data obtained in this research and considering how effective teachers could be with this program in physical education class. As a result of the research, as physical education teachers in PYP approved schools have been practicing PYP more faithfully and willingly, there are positive feedbacks to themselves and to the students which increases classroom engagement especially in the physical education lessons and leads to a more active lesson than classical teaching methods whereas teachers in the candidate process and teachers with no experience in teaching consider PYP as a burden, excess of paperwork and slowing down the lesson. Has been observed that the administrators also argue that the physical education course does not go away from the essence of the lesson and that the students can realize the awareness of doing sports in active life with a much different learning environment but only with believing physical education teachers.
