IV ÖZET SnCMppe KOMPLEKSİNİN TEK DİŞLİ LİGANTLARLA ETKİLEŞİMİ GÖNCÜ, Ömür Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Fen Fakültesi Kimya Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi : Prof.Dr. Fadime SARIKÂHYA Eylül 1996, 45 sayfa Bu çalışmada SnCUdppe kompleksinin tek dişli ligantlarla ( L = EtsN, Ph2NH, SMe2, S(t-Bu2), (CH3)2CO, DMSO, m-cresol, SPPh3 ) değişik çözgen ortamlarında 1:2 mol oranındaki reaksiyonları incelendi. Et3N'in bu mol oramnda SnCUdppe ile birlikte bulunduğu, elementel analiz ve İR spekîrurnlarının değerlendirilmesiyle belirlendi. SnCLjdppe'nin aseton ile reaksiyonu, değişik çözgen ortamlarında ve değişik çöktürme teknikleri denenmesine rağmen, her defasında elde edilen ürünün başlangıç kompleksi olduğu saptandı. Ancak bu reaksiyonun gerçekleştirildiği THF ortamında başlangıçtan itibaren belirli zaman aralıkları ile alman örneklerin İR spektrumlanmn değerlendirmesinden bu reaksiyonun çözelti ortamında gerçekleştiği anlaşıldı. SnCLıdppe'nin PH2NH, SPPh3, S(t-Bu)2 ile reaksiyon vermemesine tek dişli liganta bağlanmış olan sübstitüent gruplarının büyüklüğünden kaynaklanan sterik etkinin sebep olduğu sonucuna varıldı. DMSO, m-kresol ve SMe2 ile de SnGUdppe'nin reaksiyonları gerçekleştirilemedi.

ABSTRACT THE INTERACTION OF SnCL»dppe COMPLEX WITH MONODENTATE LIGANDS GÖNCÜ, Ömür Msc Thesis, Chemistry Department Supervisor : Prof Dr. Fadime SARIKÂHYA September 1996, 45 pages In this work, the reaction between SnCUdppe (dppe : [1,2 bis (diphenyl phosphino) ethane] ) complex with monodentate ligands ( L= Et3N, Ph2NH, SMe2, S(t-Bu2), (CH3)2CO, DMSO, m-cresol, SPPh3 ) were investigated in different solvents at 1:2 molar ratio. In the reaction of SnCLjdppe with Et3N, it was obtained that SnCl4dppe with Et3N were together in the solution with 1:2 ratio, by using of elemental analysis and IR spectra. For the reaction of SnCLjdppe with acetone, different solvents and precipitation techniques was tried, but the starting complex has been obtained at the end of each reaction. The samples which are taken from the reaction mixture in THF, time depended IR spectra were investigated. From these spectra, it was understood that the reaction occured in solution. Finally, it has been found out that the steric effect due to the size of substituent groups attached to monodentate ligand was a parameter for the exchange reaction of between SnCMppe and the monodentate ligands. Therefore, SnCUdppe hasn't given a reaction with Ph2NH, SPPh3, S(t-Bu2), DMSO and m-cresol.
