Industrialization and urbanisation are two concepts that go together. Both of them are aimed to make the society live in better conditions. However, when they are appiied unplannedly. their disadvantages.are more than their advantages. Industrialization provides many job opportunities to oeople. In our country, however. it brings unplanned accomodation and pollution in nature. Of course, ail these mean environmental pollution. The formation of urbanization is affected negatively by industrialization. In fact, if all these changes happen in a planned way. the place we live will not be polluted in many ways. We mean not only environmental pollution but also social and cultural pollution. Ail these problems should be solved by planning. Planning must be rational and appropriate. The use of everything in city must be in harmany with each other and have an organic relation with each other. We should determine that, as it is said in ZONING (Concept). there is an appropriate place for each use. and each use should take its own place. Not only wrong decisions in city planning but also the absence of some applications create a terrible picture in our country; of course, the same picture is seen in Bornova. Industry. wrong decisions in housing regions and insufficient open-green areas are examples of wrong land use decisions. This situation is the result of many wrong decisions which were made one after another. Undountedlv.194.air. land and water is polluted, and the home of human being, nature, is destroyed..These destructions affect the nature of human being, and some social and cultural inefficiencies, and economical loss come into existence. In short, human being is great iy destroyed because of not giving importance to decisions in land use. In order to solve this problem, goverment foundations. scientific authorities and public should have the necessary knowledge and pay attention to the importance of it. In planning sections. the ideas of related foundadions shouid be taken. landscape architectures shouid have active roles, and scientists from different areas should work together. In conclusion, everything is for human being.
