Özet
Tez çalışması, sapma/suçun; sosyal organizasyonsuzluk teorilerinin ifade ettiği gibi kent yaşamındaki gelişimin ve değişimin bir sonucu olmasının ve ya alt kültür teorilerinin ifade ettiği gibi temelde bir grup davranışı olmasının ötesinde; ya da gerilim, rasyonel tercih, fırsat, sosyal öğrenme vb. gibi teorik yaklaşımların ifade ettiklerinin ötesinde bir anlamı olduğunu iddia etmektedir. Bu anlamı bulmak için ise suça, kriminolojinin ve kültüre de antropolojinin gölgesinden çıkarak pür sosyolojik olarak bakmayı önermektedir. Çalışmanın kuramsal çerçevesinde kavramsal çerçevedeki tartışmalara ve saha çalışmasının ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilecek, Jürgen Habermas ve Pierre Bourdieu gibi sosyolojinin yetkin isimleri üzerinden, eklektik teorik bir yaklaşım geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın metodolojisi bölümünde, kuramsal çerçevede teorik koordinatları tespit edilen suç habitatının, yöntemsel/nesnel koordinatları istatistik ve doküman analizleri ile belirlenmiştir. İzmir ili suç habitatında ikamet eden örnekleme yönelik gerçekleştirilen saha çalışmasından elde edilen nitel verilerin yorumlanması bölümünde ise öncelikle alt ve üst temalar belirlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda suç habitatına ilişkin; 10 üst tema, 28 alt tema, suçlu gençlik habitusuna ilişkin; 10 üst tema, 12 alt tema, toplamda; 20 üst tema ve 40 alt tema ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise suç habitatı ve suçlu gençlik habitusunun güncel ve gelecek durumlarına ilişkin sonuç ve öneriler ele alınmıştır.

The thesis study asserts that the deviation/crime; as expressed by social inorganization theories, has a meaning beyond its being as a result of the development and change in urban life or being basically a group behavior as expressed by sub-culture theories; or beyond those expressed by the theoretical approaches such as tension, rational choice, opportunity, social learning, etc. İn order to find this meaning, it suggest to purely look at the crime by getting out of shadow of criminology as well as look at the culture by getting out of shadow of anthropology. İn the theoretical framework of the study, an eclectic theoretical approach, which can respond to conceptual framework discussions and the needs of field work, has been tried to be brought through the efficient names of sociology such as Jürgen Habermas and Pierre Bourdieu. In the section of methodology of the study, methodological/objective coordinates of the crime habitat, the theoretical coordinates of which have been determined in the theoretical framework, through the statistical and document analyzes. On the other hand, in the section, in which the qualitative data obtained fulfilled for the sample inhabiting in İzmir province crime habitat have been interpreted, firstly lower and upper themes have been determined. In this context, 10 upper themes and 28 lower themes for crime habitat; and 10 upper themes and 12 lower themes for criminal youth habitus, totally 20 upper themes and 40 lower themes have appeared. In the conclusion section, the conclusions and suggestions about current and future situations for crime habitat and criminal youth habitus.
