Özet

Öğretmenlerin nitelikli bir şekilde yetiştirilmesi toplumlarda eğitimin kalitesi ve niteliği açısından büyük oranda önem taşımaktadır. Öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik motivasyonu da bu noktada önemlidir. Öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik motivasyon düzeyinin yüksek olması öğretmen adaylarının özyeterliklerine olumlu etkide bulunabilir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2014­2015 eğitim­öğretim yılında üniversitelerin eğitim fakültesinde öğrenim gören sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının özyeterlik algıları ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik motivasyonları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Örneklem belirlenirken 'tabakalı örneklem' yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın modeli tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2014-2015 öğretim yılında 12 üniversitede eğitim fakültelerinin İlköğretim Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği 1.2.3.4. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 2193 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının mesleki özyeterlik algıları ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik motivasyonları arasında arasında orta düzeyde, pozitif anlamlı bir ilişki görülmektedir. Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik motivasyona ilişkin algılarının yüksek ve katılıyorum düzeyinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Genel olarak öğretmen adaylarının özyeterlik algıları incelendiğinde“oldukça yeterli”düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik motivasyonları ve özyeterlik algıları sınıf düzeyine göre anlamlı bir şekilde değişmektedir. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının motivasyonları ve özyeterlik algıları 1. sınıfta en yüksek düzeyde; 4. sınıfta ise en düşük düzeydedir.

The training of qualified teachers has great importance in terms of quality and nature of education. The quality of the opportunities offered to social prospective teachers isn't able to be sufficient in his profession. Motivation against teaching profession of social studies teachers is also important at this point. Having a high level of Social Studies Prospective Teachers' Motivation for Teaching Profession may have positive effects on self­efficacy. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between social prospective teachers' motivation for teaching profession and social studies prospective teachers' sense of efficacy. This is a descriptive research in relational survey model. The participants of the study are 2193 social studies prospective teachers of 1th 2nd 3th 4th grade at Faculty of Education in Kastamonu University, Marmara University, Balıkesir University , Pamukkale University, Gazi , Abant İzzet Baysal University, Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Ahi Evran University, Kastamonu University, Karadeniz Teknik University, Fırat University, Erzincan University , Adıyaman University in the 2014­2015 academic years. As a result of the research, there is a moderate positive correlation between social studies prospective teachers' motivation for teaching profession and social studies prospective teachers' sense of efficacy. It has been determined that the perceptions of social studies prospective teachers' motivation for teaching profession are high and agreeing. In general, it has been determined that the and socıal studıes prospective teachers' sense of effıcacy perceptions are“quite sufficient”. Socıal studies prospective teachers' motıvation for teachıing profession and social studies prospective teachers' sense of efficacy vary significantly according to grade level. Social studies prospective teachers' motivation for teaching profession and social studies prospective teachers' sense of efficacy are at the highest level in the first grade, but it is the lowest level in the 4th grade.
