Özet
Bu çalışma Cahiliye Dönemi eğitim anlayışını konu edinmiştir. Çalışma Cahiliye Dönemi'nde eğitim faaliyetleriyle daha çok kimlerin ilgilendiğini, Cahiliye Dönemi kurumlarını, eğitim faaliyetlerini ve dönemin eğitimcilerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamıştır. Bu konuya yeni katkılar sağladığı için çalışma önemli görülmüştür. Çalışma Cahiliye Dönemi eğitim anlayışının ve bu anlayışın bir sonucu olan eğitim faaliyetlerinin ilk dönem ve sonraki dönem İslam eğitim anlayışına ve faaliyetlerine bir etkisinin olup olmadığını tespit etmeye çalışmıştır. Bu bakımdan çalışma, İslam eğitim tarihine önemli katkılarda bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak literatür/belgesel taraması yapılarak ana kaynaklardan dönemin eğitim anlayışı, içerik ve betimsel analiz yöntemleriyle ele alınmış ve konuyla ilgili çeşitli sonuçlara varılmıştır.

This study examines the concept of education of jahiliyyah period. The study aims to determine mostly who deals with the educational activities during the period at jahiliyyah, institution, educational activities and the educaters of the period. This study tries to determine whether the education concept of jahiliyyah period and educational activities which are the result of jahiliyyah period educational understending have an impact on the eary and late period of islamic education concept and activities. İn this regard, this study makes significant contributions to the history of Islamic education. In conclusion, the literature survey is conducted and the educational concept of the period from the main sources is discussed with the content and descriptive analysis methods and various results are obtained on the subject.
