Özet
Bu çalışmanın konusu bir devre damgasını vuran düşünsel/siyasal bir yapının dayandığı temel tez ve bu tezin kendisinden sonraki düşünsel ve siyasal alana etkilerini ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, İttihat ve Terakki Cemiyetinin bu topraklar üzerinde kapalı/ gizli bir yapıdan devlet yönetimine kadar uzanan süreçteki düşünsel ve siyasi yönü üzerinde durmaktadır. Araştırmamızda, düşünce geleneğinin henüz tam olarak oturmadığı toplumumuzda Batı'dan yapılan tercüme eserlerin cemiyetin düşünsel yapısının oluşumundaki etkileri, cemiyetin iktidar olduktan sonra muhalefete karşı tavrı, siyaset konusunda cemiyetin sahip olduğu“kutsal iktidar- hain muhalefet”anlayışı, siyasal alandaki rakiplerine uyguladığı baskı da incelenmektedir. Türk siyasal tarihi üzerinde yapılan incelemelerde muhalefete karşı aynı yaklaşımların sonraki dönemlerde de etkili olduğu, gerek cumhuriyeti kuran kadroların ittihatçıların arasında çıkmaları ve gerekse ittihatçılık düşüncesi ve amaçlarının güçlü bir etkiye sahip olması nedeni ile İttihatçıların sahip olduğu düşünsel yapının Cumhuriyet sonrası siyasi yapıyı da etkilediği görülmektedir.

The main idea of thiswork is based on an intellectual/ political structure which labels an era, and this thesis is based onto the investigation of its influence on the subsequ entintellectual and political field. The research focuses on the intellectual and political direction of the process of the Committee of Union and Progress, from closed / confidential to state administration on these lands. The thes is also investigates that the influence of the translated Works madef romt he West in the society in terms of how it effects the formation of the intellectual structure the society's thought tradition whoseun derstanding is not fully developed yet and also the“sacred power-treason opposition”unde rstanding that the society has the attitude towards the opposition and the politics after the society is in power and the oppression applied to the opponents in the political area are examined. It is concluded from the studies conducted over the history of Turkish politics that the similar approaches towards the opposition have been always in effect in later period of the Turkish policy; indeed, the founding fathers of the Republic of Turkey were originating from the party of Union and Progress and the ideology of this party and its aims have a strong influence on the territory of the Republic of Turkey can be enumerated as pieces of conclusive evidence of this conclusion
