Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, özel yetenekli öğrencilerin bilgiyi oluşturma sürecinin RBC+C soyutlama modeli(tanıma, kullanma, oluşturma ve pekiştirme) bilişsel eylemleri kullanılarak analiz edilmesi ve çalışmaya katılan öğrencinin bu bilgiyi oluşturup oluşturamadığının incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla soyutlama sürecinde gerçekleşen bilişsel eylemleri fark etmemize imkân verecek tarzda dört uygulama problemi hazırlanmıştır. Daha sonra problemler öğrenciye çözdürülmüştür. Bu çalışma yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat yönteminin kullanıldığı nitel bir çalışmadır. Verilerin toplanmasında gözlem ve görüşme tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışma Fahrettin Kırzıoğlu Bilim Sanat Merkezinde bulunan bir 8. Sınıf öğrencisiyle yürütülmüştür. Görüşmelerden ve çalışma yapraklarından elde edilen veriler özel yetenekli öğrencinin matematiksel soyutlama sürecinde zorlanmadığını ve soyutlama sürecini gerçekleştirerek bilgiyi yapılandırdığını göstermiştir. Bilgi oluşturmaya ilişkin bilgi soyutlama süreçlerinin incelendiği daha fazla araştırma yapılmasına ihtiyaç vardır. Böylece araştırmacı ve öğreticilerin bu konuda bilgi ve tecrübe kazanmalarına ve matematiksel konuların daha etkin ve anlamlı bir şekilde öğrenilmesine fırsat verilebilir.

The purpose of this study is to analyze that the process of composing the information of the gifted children, using the cognitive performance of the RBC+C abstraction model (recognizing, buildingwith, construction and consolidation) and examine if the student who takes part the study compose this imformation or not. For this purpose, four practice problems have been arranged to give us an opportunity to realize the cognitive performance that happens during the abstraction process. Afterwards, the problems have been solved by the students. This is a qualitative study that uses the method of semi structured interview. While gathering the datas, benefited from observation and interview techniques. The study was carried out with a 8. Grade student from Fahrettin Kırzıoğlu Science and Art Center. The datas that obtained from the interview and study sheets show that the special talented student didn't have difficulty in the process of mathematical abstraction and constructed the information making real the process of abstraction. It is required to make much more studies related to constructing information analyzing the process of information abstraction. In this way, it may allow the researchers and instructors get information on this subject and gain experience and mathematical subjects may be learned more efficient and meaningful way.
