Özet
Turizm sektörü son yıllarda gösterdiği gelişim ile dünyanın en büyük sektörleri arasında gösterilmektedir. Turizm sektörü diğer sektörler ile kıyaslandığında daha dengeli ve güvenilir döviz rezervini artırma özelliği ile gelişmekte olan ülkelerin dikkatini üzerinde toplamaktadır. Son yıllarda krizlerin sayısı oldukça artmıştır, artan krizlerden dolayı turizm sektörü de bu durumdan olumsuz etkilenmesine rağmen, ülkemizde ilgili literatürde bu konu hakkında fazla çalışma yapılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Turizmin ekonomik etkileri dikkate alındığında tespit edilen bu eksiklik tez konusu seçimimin nedenini oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışma 2010-2016 yılları da dahil olmak üzere yaşanan krizlerin turizm sektörüne olan etkilerini kriz yönetimi açısından inceleyerek ekonomik etkilerini ortaya koymayı hedeflemiştir. Bunun ile ilgili olarak Türkiye sektördeki kayıpları telafi etmeye yönelik ekonomi alanında ve turizm sektöründe politikalar geliştirecektir.

The tourism sector has been shown to be one of the largest sectors in the world with its recent development. The tourism sector compares the attention of developing countries with the ability to increase more balanced and reliable foreign exchange reserves compared to other sectors. Although the number of crises has increased considerably in recent years, the tourism sector has also been adversely affected by the increasing crises. This shortcoming, which was determined when the economic effects of tourism were taken into consideration, constituted the reason for my thesis topic. This study aimed to reveal the economic effects of the crises, including the years 2010-2016, by examining the effects of the crisis on the tourism sector in terms of crisis management. Regarding this, Turkey will develop policies in the economic and tourism sectors to compensate the sectoral losses.
