Özet
Ülkemizde 6-11 yaşlarında öğrenciler ilkokul eğitimi almaktadır. Erikson'un psikosyal kişilik kuramındaki dördüncü evrede başarılı olma duygusu ya da bunu elde edemeyen öğrenciler için başarısızlık duygusu edinileceği belirtilmektedir. Adler'in kişilik kuramı ve doğum sırası teorisinde çocuğun doğum sırasının, tek çocuk olmasının ve son çocuk olmasının spor başarı algısı üzerinde etkili olduğunu belirtmektedir. Bu çalışmada ilkokul 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin spor başarı algısı ve matematik kaygısı yaş, cinsiyet, kardeş sayısı, tek çocuk olma durumu, okula başlama yaşı, matematik dersini sevme, öğretmenden ve aileden yardım alma gibi bazı değişkenlere göre incelenmiştir. Araştırma İstanbul ili, Güngören ilçesindeki 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılında 198 kadın, 176 erkek olmak üzere 374 ilkokul üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilere“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”,“Matematik Kaygı Formu”ve“Spor başarı algı Envanteri Çocuk Versiyonu”uygulanmıştır. Araştırma betimsel nitelikli olup genel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS programından, t testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular değerlendirildiğinde; spor başarı algısı ve matematik kaygısının sınıf düzeyine, cinsiyete, yaşa, kardeş durumuna, kardeş sırasına, yaşanılan ana babaya, kendisine ait odasının olup olmamasına ve ders çalışırken yardım alıp almamasına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşmadığı gözlenmiştir. Matematik dersini seven öğrencilerin sevmeyen öğrencilere göre spor başarı algıları daha düşük olmakla birlikte matematik kaygıları daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Spor başarı algısı ile matematik kaygısı arasında düşük seviyede negatif yönlü ilişki olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.

Students in our country are studying primary school at the age of 6-11 years. Erikson's sense of success in the fourth phase of psychosocial personality theory, or failure to achieve it, is said to be a failure. Adler states that in his theory of personality and birth order, the birth order or being only child or the last child that influences the perception of success. In this study, achievement perception and math anxiety of third and fourth grade school students were investigated according to age, gender, number of siblings, single childhood, age of starting school, liking mathematics, teaching and receiving family support. The research was carried out with 374 elementary school third and fourth grade students, 198 females and 176 males in 2015-2016 educational year in the district of Güngören, İstanbul.“Personal Information Form”,“Mathematics Anxiety Form”and“Children's Version of Success Perception Inventory”were applied to the students who participated in the research. In the analysis of the data, SPSS program, t test and one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) technique was used. When the findings are evaluated; It has been observed that the perception of achievement and mathematics is not significantly different according to class level, sex, age, sibling status, sibling order, experienced parents, whether or not there is a room for them, and whether or not they get help while studying. The students who do not like mathematics lessons, their perception of success is lower but mathematics concerns are higher than the student who dislike mathematics lessons. It was observed that there was a negative relationship between the achievement perception and the math concern at low level.
