Özet
V.OZET Bir arazi kullanım biçimi olan karayollarında çevre ve onu kullananlar açısından olumlu-olumsuz etkiler söz konusudur. Özellikle yüksek standartlı otoyolların tasarım ve yapımına ilişkin çalışmalarda otoyol-sürücü-çevre çok önemli bir üçlüdür. Yeni bir otoyolun yapımı sırasında pekçok teknik sorunlarla karşılaşılır. Otoyol, kolay ve güvenilir trafik akımı sağlamalıdır. Karayolu planlamasında aynı derecede önemli okn diğer bir husus; otoyolun çevreye olan olumsuz etkisinin minumunda tutulması, estetik görünüm vermesi ve yolun araziye fonksiyonel olarak bir uyum sağlamasıdır. Otoyolun peyzaj düzenlemesi için geliştirilen proje kavramı, herhangi birisine öncelik tanınmadan, projelendirmenin fonksiyonelliği ile estetikliğinde bir dengeye ulaşmak amacını taşımalıdır. Otoyolun peyzaj düzenlemesi; çevrenin ve onun tarihsel geçmişinin önemi ve pozitif yöndeki görsel güzelliklerini kavranmasını sağlayacak şekilde yapılmalıdır. Çevre düzenlemesinde kullanılacak materyaller, Türkiye'deki otoyollarda mevcut bakım politikası ve kalitesine uygun bir peyzaj düzenlemesi sağlayacağı gibi yolu kullananlara güvenlik sağlayacak şekilde seçilip yerleştirilmelidir. Kırsal peyzaj düzenlemesi uygulanan yerlerde yolun geçtiği her bölgeyi tamamlayıcı ve güzelleştirici olacak doğal bitki malzemesini kullanarak o bölgenin peyzajının doğal güzelliğini korumak ve ortaya koymak gerekir. Kentsel peyzaj düzenlemesinde düzgün ve bakımlı bir görüntü verecek bitki malzemesinin kullanılması ve yerleştirilmesiyle sürücünün görsel olarak gelişmiş bir ortama geçiş yapmakta olduğunu algılamasına destek olunur. Özet olarak; bir otoyol planlamasına görsel olarak yaklaşırken aşağıda belirtilen hedeflere cevap verebilecek bir düzenleme, bizi doğru çözüme ulaştaracaktır. *Erozyon kontrolü sağlamak. * Sürücü güvenliğini arttırmak. *Far ışıklarının etkisini azaltmak. * Sürüş monotonluğunu azaltmak *Otoyolun çevre arazilere etkilerini yumuşatmak. *Bakım gereksinimlerini minimuma indirmek. *Bölgesel veya yerel karakteri pekiştirmek. * Yoldan veya bitişik alanlardan arzu edilen görünüşü korumak. * Özellikle kış ve bahar süresince mevsimlik renkleri sağlamak. ?86-

SUMMARY A VISUAL APPROACH FOR THE LANDSCAPE DESIGN OF A MOTORWAY As a kind of land using type, the motorways have many negative and positive effects from the point of environment and its users. Especially in the works with regard to plannig and construction of the highly standardized motorways, drivers-motorways and environment are very important trio. During the construction of the a new motorway, it is possible to face with many technical prablems. The motorway.must provide easy and reliable traffic flow. Another important factor- for designing a motorway which is as importand as above mentioned is to minimize the negative effects of motorways on the environment. It is also important to assure well and pleasent view for motorway besides its fundional adaptation. The project concept developed for the landscape gardening must aim to provide an equilibrium (harmony) between the functionality of project and aesthetics without giving priority to any of them. The landspace gardening of the motorways has to (should) be done (implemented) by taking in to consideration the historical heritage's importante and the visual beauties in a positive way. While choosing materials for the purpose of environment planning, it must be taken into consideration that those materials will have to provide landscape gardening as well as meet the needs of current maintenance policy and security in the motorways in Turkey. In the areas where rural landscape gardening is applied, it is necessary to protcet the natural environment by using complementary and pleasing plant materials. In Urban, landscape planning by planting and settling of proper and well cared plant materials, the drivers perception is supported by the help of visual means which indicate that he has been travelling in a visually developed environment. To sum up (briefly) while approaching to a motorway landscape planning visually, it is necessary to reply the following targets to be able to fin out the correct solution, (a plan which could be found out (answered) follomwing targets (questions), will lead us to correct (appropriate) solutions: ?Providing control of the erosion. ?Improvement of the drivers security. ?Lightering the effects of the lights of headlights. ?Lightering the driving monotonousy. ?Decreasing the maintenance needs to minimum. ?Smoothing the effects of the motorways on surrounding lands. ?Intensifying (stiffening) the regional and local charaeter. *Pfeteetİ6fî - of the view of landscape which is desired to be seen from The motorway. ?Providing seasonal colours, especially during winter and spring. -87-
