Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Özel Anadolu Lisesi öğrencilerinin karar verme stratejilerini geliştirme amaçlı hazırlanan bir grup rehberliği programının etkililiğini incelemektir. Araştırmaya lise 9'uncu ve 10'uncu sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerden karar verme stratejileri düzeyi düşük 40 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi 20'si deney grubunda 20'si kontrol grubunda olmak üzere 40 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Çalışma ön test- son-test, deney ve kontrol gruplu, deneysel deseninde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada nicel-nitel karışık(mix) desen kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilere araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katıldıklarını belirten, Gönüllü Katılım Formu, Kuzgun (1995) tarafından geliştirilen Karar Verme Stratejileri Ölçeği ve grup üyelerinin eğitim programı hakkındaki değerlendirmelerini öğrenmek amacıyla Delucia-Waack (2006) tarafından geliştirilen Grup Değerlendirme Formu uygulanmıştır. Grup Değerlendirme Formu“Evet”,“Hayır”,“Bilmiyorum”kodlamalarına ilişkin sayısal olarak değerlendirilmiş ve sonuç olarak bu sayısal değerler yüzdelere dönüştürülmüştür. Verilerin analizi SPSS 21.0 programına girilerek analiz edilmiştir. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının kendi içinde ön-test ve son-test puanları arasındaki farklılık Bağımsız Örneklemler için kullanılan t testi ile kontrol edilmiştir. Deney ve kontrol grupları arasında ön-testlerin ve son-testlerin karşılaştırılmasında ise Eşleştirilmiş gruplar için kullanılan t testi uygulanmıştır. Analizlerde güven aralığı %95 (anlamlılık düzeyi 0,05 p<0,05) olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları, deney grubunun eğitim aldıktan sonra karar verme stratejileri ölçeğinden aldıkları toplam puan ve alt ölçeklerinden aldıkları puanlar kontrol grubu puanlarıyla karşılaştırıldığında istatistiksel anlamlı şekilde farklılık göstermiştir. Deney grubundaki ergenlerin Karar Verme Stratejileri Ölçeğinin üç alt boyutunun son-test puanlarıyla kontrol grubundaki ergenlerin üç alt boyutunun son-test puanları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın nicel ve nitel bulguları, geliştirilen grup rehberliği programının etkili olduğunu göstermiştir.

The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of a group guidance program prepared for improving decision making strategies of Private Anatolian High School students. 40 students who are studying in 9th and 10th grades in high school and whose the level of decision making strategies is low have particiated in this study. The research sample consists of 40 students. 20 of them took part in the experimental group while 20 of them took part in the control group. The research was conducted on the experimental design including pre-test, post-test, the experimental and control groups. In this research, qualitative and quantitative methods (mixed models) were used. Voluntary Participation Form stating that participation as a volunteer in the research, Decision Making Strategies Scale developed by Kuzgun (1995), and Group Evaluation Form developed by Delucia-Waack (2006) in order to learn the evaluations of the group members about the educational program have been applied to the students. Group Evaluation Form has evaluated numerically according to the coding“Yes”,“No”,“I don't know”and as a result, these numerical values have converted to percents. Analysis of the data was carried out by using SPSS 21.0 program. The difference between pre-test and post-test scores within the experimental and control groups was checked by independent sample t-test. The paired t test was used in the comparison of pre-test and post-test between the experimental and control groups. In the analysis, confidence interval was determined as 95% (significance level 0,05 p<0,05). The results of the study indicated significant differences when the total scores obtained from the scale of decision-making strategies and the scores obtained from its subscales by the experimental group after training are compared to those of the control group. A significant difference between post-test scores of three subscales of Decision Making Strategies Scale of adolescents in the experimental group and post-test scores of three subscales of adolescents in the control group was found in favor of the experimental group. The quantitative and qualitative findings of the research have revealed that the group guidance program developed was effective.
