Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışmada, değişik sonlu eleman ağlan uygulanmış bir otomobil jantında, üç boyutlu sonlu eleman yöntemi kullanılarak gerilme dağılımı ve kütle hesabı yapılmıştır. Sonlu eleman ağ yapılarında kullanılan elemanlar, 8 düğümlü hexahedral elemanlardır. Elemanların rijitlik değerleri Gauss nümerik integrasyon metoduyla bulunmuştur. Gerilme dağılımı ve kütle, hazırlanan bilgisayar programıyla elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amaç;., belirli bir yüke maruz jantta, minimum kütleyi elde etmektir. Bu çalışmada 1 2 değişik sonlu eleman modeli kullanılmıştır. Gerilme analizlerinin sonuçları grafik ve tablolarla gösterilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonuçlan, gerilme dağılımı ve malzeme maliyeti düşünülerek en uygun jantı seçmede kulîanılabilinir. ıı

ABSTRACT In this study, three dimensional finite element method is used to determine the stress distribution and mass in the different meshed car rim. The used elements in the meshes are hexahedral linear elements with eight nodes. The Gaussian numerical integration method is used to determine the element stiffiiess values. The stress distributions and mass were obtained from prepared computer programs. The purpose of this study is to get the minimum mass for the rim under the applied load. In this thesis, twelve different meshes were obtained. The results of stress analysis have been given in terms of the graphics and tables. The results of this thesis may be used in engineering applications for choosing suitable rim considering the stresses and material costs.
