Özet
Makkabi İsyanı'nı ele aldığımız bu çalışma giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezimizin giriş kısmında önce çalışma hakkında genel bilgi verilmiş, ardından sırasıyla Büyük İskender, Ptolemeler, Selevkoslar dönemlerinde Helenizmin Yahuda bölgesinde yayılma süreci işlenmiştir. Birinci bölümde, Makkabi İsyanı'nı hazırlayan sebepler üzerinde durulmuş, Yahudi toplumunu ayaklanmaya götüren faktörler tek tek ortaya konulmuştur. İkinci bölümde, Makkabi İsyanı'nın kendisi ele alınarak isyan süreci boyunca Yahudiler tarafından belirlenen hedefler ile bu hedefler uğruna verilen mücadeleler aktarılmış ve bu bağlamda elde edilen zaferler değerlendirilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, Makkabi İsyanı'nın ardından oluşan siyasî ve dinî neticeler ortaya konularak bu neticelerin Yahudi toplumu ile Yahudilik dini üzerindeki etkileri ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç kısmında, yapılan araştırmanın genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Ekte ise konunun daha kolay kavranabilmesi açısından ilgili dönemin kapsamlı kronolojisine ve söz konusu zaman diliminde Yahuda bölgesindeki değişimi yansıtan haritalara yer verilmiştir.

This study in which we have dealt with the Maccabean Revolt, consists of an introduction and three chapters. At the introduction of our thesis, general information about the study was given first, followed by the process of spreading of Hellenism in Judah in the periods of Great Alexander, Ptolemaic and Seleucid dynasty. In the first chapter, the reasons for preparing the Maccabean Revolt were discussed, and the factors leading to the uprising of the Jewish community were put forward one by one. In the second chapter, the Maccabean Revolt itself was handed down and the goals set by the Jews during the rebellion period and the struggles for these goals were communicated and the victories achieved in this context were evaluated. In the third chapter, the political and religious consequences of the Maccabean Revolt and the effects of these consequences on the Jewish community and the religion of Judaism were revealed. In the conclusion, a general evaluation of the research has been made. In the appendix, a comprehensive chronology of the period concerned and a map reflecting the change in the territory of Judah during this period was included to make it easier to comprehend.
