Özet

Bu araştırma, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin küreselleşme olgusuna ilişkin algılarını belirlemek ve belirlenen algıların cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem ve yaş değişkenlerine göre anlamlı olup olmadığını ölçmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma tarama modelinde olup betimsel nitelik taşımaktadır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Malatya ilinde görev yapan Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenleri oluştururken, araştırmanın örneklemini ise“Tabakalı-Tesadüfî Örnekleme”yöntemi ile belirlenmiş 225 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır.Bu araştırmada verilerin toplanması için üç bölümden oluşan bir veri seti kullanılmıştır. Birinci bölümünde araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan“Yönerge”, ikinci bölümde“Kişisel Bilgiler Formu”ve üçüncü bölümde ise araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan“Küreselleşme Anketi”yer almaktadır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS 18,0 istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, f (frekans), % (yüzde), Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon Analizi, iki düzeyli değişkenlerde t-Testi, daha fazla düzeyli değişkenlerde ise Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Bulguların yorumlanmasında değerlerin 0,05 düzeyinde (p<0,05) anlamlı olup olmadığına bakılmıştır. Anlamlı farklılığın hangi gruplar arasında olduğunun tespiti için LSD testi yapılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan ölçek Likert tipi olup, beşli derecelendirme şeklinde hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmada; küreselleşme olgusu çerçevesinde geliştirilen anketin boyutları olan, sosyolojik-psikolojik boyut, kültürel değerler boyutu, eğitim-öğretim boyutu ile ekonomik-teknolojik boyutunun yaş faktörüne göre anlamlı farklılık sadece sosyolojik - psikolojik boyutta çıkmıştır. Kıdem yılına göre yapılan incelemede ise yalnızca ekonomik-teknolojik boyutta anlamlı farklılık çıkmıştır. Cinsiyet faktörüne göre bakıldığı da ise ekonomik-teknolojik boyutunda anlamlı farklılık bulunmaktadır. Araştırmaya küreselleşmenin boyutları arasında ilişki olup olmadığına bakıldığında yapılan Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon Analizinde kültürel değer boyutu ile eğitim-öğretim boyutu arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunamamış, diğer boyutlar arasında anlamlı ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.

In this research, the aim is to investigate the perceptions of social sciences teachers on the globalization phenomenon; and to determine whether these perceptions vary at a significant level according to gender, professional seniority, and age variables. The research is designed in the scanning model, and has descriptive characteristics. The universe of the study consists of Social Sciences teachers working in the city of Malatya in 2015-2016 Academic year, and the sampling of the study consists of 225 Social Sciences teachers determined according to“Layered-Random Sampling Method”. A dataset consisting of 3 sections has been used in this study to collect the data. In the first section, there is the“Instructions”part prepared by the author of the research; in the second section there is the“Personal Information Form”; and in the third section, there is the“Globalization Survey”, which was prepared by the author of the research. The SPSS 18,0 Statistical Package Program was used in assessing the data obtained in the study. F (frequency), % (percentage), and the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Analysis were used in the analyses of the data; the t-test was used in dichotomous variables; and the One-Way Variance Analysis (ANOVA) was used for the variables with more levels. In assessing the findings, the 0,05 level (p<0,05) was considered to be significant. The LSD test was conducted to determine between which groups the significant difference was. The scale used in the research was in the Likert type, and was prepared in five-point style. The sociological-psychological dimension, cultural values dimension, education-training dimension and economic-technological dimension, which are the dimensions developed in the globalization phenomenon in the research, have been investigated in the scope of the research, and it has been determined that there is a significant difference with the age variable only in the sociological-psychological dimension. In the analysis conducted on seniority it has been determined that there is a significant difference in the economical-technological dimension. When the gender variable is considered, it has been determined that there is a significant difference in economic-technological dimension. In the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Analysis conducted to see whether there is a relation among the dimensions of globalization, it has been determined that there is no significant relation between education-training dimension and the cultural values dimension; and that there is a significant relation among the other dimensions.
