Özet
ÖZET Türkiye'nin gerek kültür gerek teknoloji açısından küreleşen dünya koşullarına entegre olabilmesi için gereksinim duyduğu yetişmiş, sağlıklı insan gücünü oluşturacak üniversite öğrencilerinin mevcut ve potansiyel sorunları, ve bu sorunların çözümünde görev alacak birimlerin oluşturduğu merkezler bu çalışmanın içeriğini oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket tekniğinin seçildiği bu çalışmada Osmangazi Üniversitesi Fakültelerinin Birinci Sınıflarına ilk defa 1994-1995 öğretim yılında kayıt yaptıran öğrencilere uygulanmak üzere üç bölümden oluşan bir anket formu hazırlanmıştır. Anketin ilk bölümü“Öğrenci Sorunları Envanteri”ni, ikinci bölümü“öğrencilerle ilgili bilgileri”ve üçüncü bölümü de“öğrencilerin Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik Merkezi hakkındaki algı ve beklentilerini”belirlemede yararlanılacak soruları içermektedir. Öğrencilerin anketin“Öğrenci Sorunları Envanteri”bölümüne vermiş oldukları cevaplar dikkate alınarak sorunlar“Akademik Sorunlar”,“Boş Zamanları Değerlendirme ve Kültürel Sorunlar”,“Ekonomik Sorunlar”,“Yaşam ve Sağlık Sorunları”ve“Psikososyal Sorunlar”olmak üzere beş ana grupta sınıflandırılmış ve sözkonusu sınıflandırmada“Çoklu Ayırma ve Sınıflandırma Analizi (Diskiriminant Analizi)”kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda yapılan hatalı sınıflandırmalar düzeltilmiş, öğrenci sorunlarının kaynağının belirlenmesi amacıyla karşılaştırma tabloları düzenlenmiş ve özet bilgiler elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca sınıflandırma sonuçları Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik Merkezi hakkındaki algı ve beklentiler bakımından da incelenerek bir durum değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Yapılan bu çalışma, araştırmadan elde edilen bulguların özetlendiği ve önerilerin yeraldığı sonuç bölümüyle tamamlanmıştır.

ABSTRACT The study will involve the present and potential problems of University students, who would provide the Turkey with work power that she needs in order to be involved in globalisation in terms of both technology and culture. In this study where the survey has been prefered as a data collecting mean, a survey paper has been formed to apply to the students who has registered for the first time to the various faculties of Osmangazi University in 1994-1995. While the first part of the survey consists of the“Inventory of Student Problems”, the second part includes“information about students”, and finally the topic of the third part mentions the problems which could be referred in defining the expectations and the perceptions of the students, related to Physchological Help and Guidance Center. The problems have been classified into five main groups as“Psychosocial Problems”,“Life and Health Problems”,“Economic Problems”,“Activities in leisure Time and Cultural Problems”, and“Academic Problems”, taking into consideration the responses given by the students to the part of“Inventory of Student Problems”of the survey, and“Discriminant Analysis”is used in the relative classification Concluding the analysis missclassifications have been corrected, contingency tables have been formed to identify where the problems of the students stem from, and abstract information has been achieved. Examining the results of the classification in terms of expectations and perceptions related to Psychological Help and Guidance Center, also an evaluation has been provided. The study has concluded with the summarized findings achieved and the conclusion part in which the suggestions included.
