Özet
Aydınlanma, hem kavram hem de süreç olarak ekonomi politik literatüründeki tartışmaların başını çeken konulardan biridir. Çünkü aydınlanma felsefesinin yarattığı özgürlükçü yapı, aklını kullanan rasyonel bireylerin de yaratılmasına olanak tanır. Bu tez çalışması aydınlanma düşüncesinin İskoç olanının ekonomi politiği yaratma sürecinde, iktisat biliminin öncelikle Fizyokrasiyle keşimini inceleyecektir. Tezde, Fizyokratların aydınlanma düşünürlerinden farklı oldukları ancak yine de Fransız Devrimi'ne gidilen süreçte Fransa'yı etkiledikleri kabul edilir. Bu bağlamda aydınlanma düşüncesi, Fransız Devrimi, ilk iktisat okulu olan Fizyokrasi ve İskoç Aydınlanması üçgeninde açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır. Rasyonel bireyin yaratılma sürecinde Fransız Aydınlanmasının aklı öne çıkaran yapısıyla, İskoç aydınlanmasının maddi duyguları ön plana çıkaran yapısının bileşimi vurgulanacaktır.

Enlightenment is one of the heading subjects in the literature of political economy both as a process and a concept. The reason of this is the structure created by the liberal philosophy of the enlightenment which also allows the creation of rational individuals who use their mind. This thesis firstly focuses on the intersection of Physiocracy with the science of economics in the process of the creation of political economy by the Scottish Enlightenment. In this thesis it is argued that the Physiocrats are different from the enlightenment thinkers but they also affected the enlightenment thinkers in advance of the French Revolution. In this context, the idea of the enlightenment will be examined through the effects of Physiocracy which is the first school of economics, the French Revolution and the Scottish Enlightenment. In the process of the creation of the rational individual, unification of the structure of the French Enlightenment which highlighted the reason and the structure of the Scottish Enlightenment which highlighted individual interests will be emphasized.
