Özet
ÖZET Son yıllarda, çevre sorunlarının ciddi boyutlara ulaşması ile çevre ve kalkınma politikalarım bütünleştiren bir gelişme olan“Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma”global bazda benimsenmeye başlanmıştır. Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Yaklaşımının öncelikli sektörlerinden biri olan“turizm sektörü”; turizm gelişimini çevrenin korunması ve me kanların planlanması ile gerçekleştirmek durumundadır. Çevreye karşı duyarlılık turizm hareketlerinin yönünü de etkile diğinden, dünya turizm gelirlerinden bugün ve gelecekte pay almak iste yen ülkeler, "Sürdürülebilir Turizm Gelişimı'ni benimseyerek, plan ve politikalarında bu yaklaşıma yer vermektedirler. Bu çalışma da, turizm sektörü için çevrenin önemi ve çevre üze rindeki etkisi, sürdürülebilir turizm gelişiminin gerekliliği ile kuramsal bazda bu gelişimin nasıl sağlanacağı incelenmiştir. Bu çerçeve de, Güney Antalya Turizm Gelişim Projesi incelenerek, projeyi değerlendirmek ve öneriler oluşturmak amacıyla anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anket sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesiyle; Güney Antalya Turizm Gelişim Projesi ile sağlanan turizm gelişiminin; dış olumsuz etkenlerin önlenebilmesi durumunda, ülkemizde ilk ve tek entegre gelişimi sağlayan proje olması yönünden sürdürülebilir turizm gelişimi yapısına uygun bir örnek oluşturduğu elde edilmiştir. Nitekim, anket sonucu ulaşılan bulgu lar, sürdürülebilir turizmin belirleyicileri açısından bu olguyu kanıtla maktadır. ıı

SUMMARY In recent years, concept of“Sustainable Development”has been started to be accepted globally which incorporates environmental and de velopmental policies in a single integrated policy, environmental issues' scopes getting extremely serious condition. One of the prioritized sector of Sustainable Development Appro ach is“Tourism Sector”and it aims the coordination between tourism de velopment and conservation of environment and site planning which sho uld be realized simultenously. Since sensivities to enviromental issues effects tourism move ments, countries that want to take share from world tourism receipts to day and in the future, have to emphasize and give a special place, as well as acceptance of“Sustainable Tourism Development”approach in their national plans and policies. In this research, importance of enviroment to tourism and its ef fects on enviroment, necessity of sustainable tourism development, and the way in which this development be achieved in a theoratical basis wit hin this context, Southern Antalya Tourism Development Project was examined, and a questionaire was prepared to evaluate the project and bring suggestions to the involved parties. After the evaluation of questionaire results, we found that, the to urism development that was achieved with Southern Antalya Tourism Development Project -if the external negative factors be prevented- is one of the single integrated example tourism development project of our country which contains instruments of sustainable tourism development concept. As a conclusion it could be stated that, results obtained from qu estionaire proved this fact in terms of the determinants of sustainable to urism development concept. iii
