Özet
Thomas S. Kuhn tarafından sunulan yeni bilim imgesi göreliliğe yol açtığı gerekçesiyle sıklıkla eleştirilmiştir. Kuhn, temel eseri Bilimsel Devrimlerin Yapısı'ndan sonraki çalışmalarında bu eleştirilere yanıt vermeye çalışsa da bu konudaki tartışmaları tatmin edici bir şekilde sonlandırdığı söylenemez. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Kuhn'un sunduğu bilim imgesini geç dönem Wittgenstein felsefesinin gramer kavramıyla beraber okumak ve bu yönde bir okumanın görelilik tartışmaları açısından yaratacağı imkanları tartışmaktır. Bu çalışma üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Bunlardan ilki, Kuhn'un sunduğu bilim imgesini, bu imgenin oluşumu ve tarihsel gelişiminden hareketle betimlemekte ve onun görelilik ile olan ilişkisi ele almaktadır. İkinci bölüm çalışmanın iddiasını şekillendiren Wittgensteincı gramer kavramının temel özellikleri incelemektedir. Üçüncü ve son bölümde Kuhn'un bilim imgesi gramer kavramından hareketle yeniden değerlendirilmekte ve bu tip değerlendirmenin görelilik tartışmaları açısından sonucu ele alınmaktadır.

The new image of science that is presented by Thomas S. Kuhn has often been criticized on the ground that it leads to relativity. Even though Kuhn tries to respond these criticisms after his main work The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, it does not seem that he satisfactorily overcomes them. The main purpose of this study is to read the image of science Kuhn presents with the late Wittgenstein's concept of grammar and to discuss the opportunities that emerge from this kind of reading with regards to relativity debate. This study consists of three main parts. The first of these describes Kuhn's image of science with reference to its formation and historical development and discusses its relation to relativity. The second part examines the main features of Wittgensteinian concept of grammar, which shapes the idea of the study. In the third and last part, Kuhn's image of science is re-considered with reference to the concept of grammar and the consequence of this kind of consideration for relativity debates is discussed.
