Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgisi düzeylerini belirlemek ve teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgilerini derslerine entegre edebilme yeterliliklerini çok yönlü incelemektir. Karma modelin kullanıldığı bu araştırmanın katılımcılarını, 2015/2016 eğitim öğretim yılında öğrenime devam eden Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı son sınıf öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak; Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Teknolojik Pedagojik Alan Bilgisi (TPAB) Ölçeği ve Görüşme Formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, yüzde, frekans, aritmetik değerlerini içeren betimleyici istatistiklere bakılmış, TPAB'nin alt boyutları arasındaki kolerasyon ilişkisi ele alınmış ve T-Testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Nitel analizde ise TPAB'nin alt boyutlarına uygun olarak öğretmen adaylarıyla yapılan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yapılmış, elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının, teknolojik bilgi ile pedagojik bilgileri arasında düşük düzeyde ilişki bulunurken, teknoloji bilgi ile alan bilgisi arasında orta düzeyde ilişki bulunmuş, alan bilgisi ile pedagojik bilgi arasında yüksek düzeyde ilişki bulunmuştur. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının teknoloji pedagoji ve alan bilgisi boyutu incelendiğinde cinsiyet, aktif bilgisayar kullanımı, aktif internet kullanımı ve mezun olunan orta öğretim kurumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık görülmemiştir.

The objective of this study is to determine the level of the technological pedagogical content knowledge of the Social Studies Teacher Candidates and to investigate from various perspectives their ability to integrate their technological pedagogical content knowledge into their lessons. The participants of this mixed-model study consisted of the final year teacher candidates studying in the Social Studies Education Department in the 2015/2016 academic year. The data collecting tools of the study included a Personal Information Questionnaire, a Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK) Scale and an Interview Form. In analyzing the data, descriptive statistics including percentages, frequencies and arithmetic values were studied and the correlation between the subdomains of TPCK was analyzed using the t-test. For qualitative analysis, semi-structured interviews were held with the teacher candidates in line with the subdomains of TPCK and the data obtained were analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. According to the results obtained in the study, there was a weak correlation between the technological knowledge and pedagogical knowledge of the Social Studies teacher candidates, a moderate correlation between their technological knowledge and content knowledge and a strong correlation between their content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge. When the technological, pedagogical and content knowledge domains of the Social Studies teacher candidates were examined, no significant difference was found with respect to gender, active computer use, active internet use and high school of graduation.
