Özet
Ulus olgusu ve ulusçuluk; siyasal, ekonomik, kültürel, felsefi ve psikolojik boyutları içeren çok yönlü, karmaşık bütünlüklerdir. Bu çalışmada, ulusal oluşum ve ulusçu düşüncenin bu çok yönlü bütünlüğü içindeki ekonomi-politik boyut, kuramsal düzeyde ele alınmıştır. Bu çerçevede ulus ve ulusçuluk sorunu; kapitalizm, eşitsiz gelişme, kapitalist devlet, ideoloji ve sınıf kuramlarının kesişme noktasında çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma, öz olarak, ulus kuramı içinde yer etmiş olan Avrupamerkezci ve ekonomik indirgemeci tezlerin eleştirisi üzerinden geliştirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda, bir yandan uluslaşmayı kapitalist üretim biçiminin gelişimine indirgeyen mekanik ve determinist bakış açısı eleştirel bir incelemeye konu edilirken diğer yandan ulusçuluğu burjuva ideolojisine indirgeyen tez karşısında, ulusçuluğun önsel ve zorunlu olarak burjuva ideolojisinin bir öğesi olarak görülemeyeceği, ulusçuluğun sosyalizme dönük işçi sınıfı siyasetinin hegemonik dili olarak kurulabileceği, böylece burjuvaziyi ulusallıktan dışlamanın aracı olarak işleyebileceği ileri sürülmüştür.

Nation and nationalism are multidimensional and complex concepts that have political, economic, cultural, philosophical and psychological aspects. In this study, politico-economical aspects of nation formation and the nationalist idea are examined in a theoretical framework. In this context, the study attempts to deconstruct nation and nationalism at the intersection of theories of capitalism, uneven development, capitalist state, ideology and class. This study is essentially built upon the critique of Eurocentric and economic reductionist approaches that exist in the theory of nation. Within this framework, mechanical and determinist approaches that reduce nation formation to the emergence of the capitalist mode of production are subjected to a critical review. Additionally, it is argued that, as opposed to the view reducing nationalism to a bourgeois ideology, nationalism cannot be seen as an apriori and essential element of bourgeois ideology. Furthermore, nationalism can be constructed as a hegemonic discourse of the socialist working class politics and thus, it can operate as a means of excluding the bourgeoisie from the nationalist discourse.
