Özet

Günümüzde yaşadığımız bilgi ve iletişim çağı, eğitime duyulan gereksinimi sürekli artırırken, çağın gerektirdiği özelliklere sahip kişilerin ancak çağdaş bir eğitim sistemi içerisinde etkili okul ve bu okulları oluşturan etkili öğretmenlerle yetişebileceği gerçeğini de ortaya koymaktadır. Öğretmenlerin çalıştıkları kurumlarda ihtiyaçlarının bilinmesi ve bu yönde bir takım düzenlemelere gidilmesi işlerini daha istekli yapmalarını sağlayabilir. Yapılan çalışmalar öğretmen motivasyonunun yükselmesinin öğretmen kadar öğrenciye de faydalı olduğunu göstermiştir Motive olmuş öğretmenlerin okul amaçlarına ulaşma yolunda performanslarının yükseleceği düşünülmektedir. Bundan hareketle bu araştırmada öğretmenlerin, okuldaki öğretmen arkadaşlarının motivasyonlarına etkisinin ne düzeyde olduğunun ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, ortaokul öğretmenlerinin motivasyonu nasıl algılandığını ve öğretmenlerin birbirinin motivasyonuna etkisinin ne düzeyde olduğunu ortaya koyması açısından da önem arz etmektedir. Örneklemde, Maltepe İlçesinde, resmi ve özel ortaokullarda görev yapan 332 öğretmen yer almaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket (32 madde) kullanılmıştır. Toplanan verilerin analizinde t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi yöntemi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlardan bazıları şöyledir: Cinsiyetin, ortaokullardaki öğretmenlerin, okuldaki öğretmen arkadaşlarının motivasyonuna etkisi vardır. Kurumun öğretim şeklinin, ortaokullardaki öğretmenlerin, okuldaki öğretmen arkadaşlarının motivasyonuna etkisi vardır. Okul türünün, ortaokullardaki öğretmenlerin, okuldaki öğretmen arkadaşlarının motivasyonuna etkisi vardır. Erkek öğretmenler lisansüstü eğitime daha çok önem vermektedirler. 6-10 yıl ve 11-15 yıl kıdeme sahip genç öğretmenlerin lisansüstü eğitime daha çok önem vermektedirler. Devlet okulu öğretmenlerinin ve özel okul öğretmenlerinin eğitim durumu dağılımları birbirine eşittir. Öğretmenlerin aynı kurumda çalışma süreleri çok düşüktür. Öğretmenler, zümre toplantılarında birbirlerinin görüşlerini dikkate aldıklarını, en üst düzey olan her zaman cevabıyla tamamen olumlu olarak belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenler, arkadaşlarının kılık kıyafetlerinin ve aldıkları ücretlerin farklı olmasının motivasyonlarını hiç etkilemediğini söylemişlerdir. Sonuç olarak, ortaokullardaki öğretmenlerin, okuldaki öğretmen arkadaşlarının motivasyonuna etkisi çoğu zaman düzeyinde gerçekleşerek, önemli bir etkide olduğu belirlenmiştir.

While the information and communication age that we live in today is continuously increasing the necessity of education, it also shows us that modern individuals can be grew up in a modern education system by the effective schools and teachers . Knowing the teacher's requirements in the institutions they work and making a number of arrangements can make them doing their job more wishfully. The studies have shown that raising the teacher's motivation is helpful not only for the teachers but also for the students. It is thought that the motivates teachers' performance is increasing towards achieving the school objectives. For this reason in this study it is aimed that how effective are the teachers on their colleagues' motivation in school. The research is important also for how is detected teachers' motivation and present at what level teachers are effective on each other's motivation . 332 teachers who are working at the state and private schools around the districts of Maltepe were included in this study. As a means of collecting data, a questionnaires (32 questions) was used. The t-test and one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used in the analysis of the data collected. Some of the findings obtained from the study are as follows: Gender has an impact on teachers' effect on the motivation of their colleagues in the middle schools. Education system has an impact on teachers' effect on the motivation of their colleagues in the middle schools. School type has an impact on teachers' effect on the motivation of their colleagues in the middle schools. Male teachers are giving more emphasis on master education . The teachers who have 6-10 years ans 11-15 years experience are giving more emphasis on master education . The state school teachers and the private school teachers have the same educational distribution. The durations of the teachers working at the same school is very low. Teachers, in the group meetings that take into account the views of each other, have stated quite positively that the answer is always the highest level. Teachers have stated that there is no impact of their colleagues' dresses and wages on their motivation. As a consequence, it is determined that teachers have mostly a high level impact on their colleagues' motivation.
