Özet

ÖZET Hz. Peygamber Devrindeki şiir ve şiirin üstlendiği vazife ve icra ettiği fonksiyonu ortaya koyup Türkçe'ye kazandırmağı amaçladığımız bu çalışmamız beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, ağırlıklı olarak, genel manada İslâm-şiir münasebetleri, İslâmın şiire bakışı ve yaklaşımı ele alınmakta İslâmla şiirin zayıflayıp gerilediği iddiaları araştırılmaktadır. İkinci bölümde, İslâm dininin temel kaynağı olan Kur'ân-ı Kerim ve şiir alakası çeşitli yönleriyle değerlendirilmektedir. Üçüncü bölümde ise bu dinin mümessili olan Hz. Peygamberin şiir ve şaire yaklaşımı, şiiri dine ve insanlığa hizmet eder, faydalı bir sanat dalı haline getirme ve yeni bir mecraya koyma gayretlerine temas edilmektedir. Dördüncü bölümde, Câhiliye Döneminde şiirle oldukça ilgili olan insanların müslüman olunca şiire karşı tutumlarının ne olduğu ve Hz. Peygamber çevresinde şiirle alâkalı olarak nasıl bir vazife yüklendikleri konusuna temasla önemli şair sahabeler kısaca tanıtılmaktadır. Beşinci bölümde ise Asr-ı Saadet şiirinin dil seviyesi, bu dönem şiirinin istişhadda kullanılması ve bu dönem şiirinin Câhileye şiirinden farklı tarafları üzerinde durulmaya çalışıldı. Bu çalışmamızda şu sonuca vardık: Oldukça ilerlemiş Câhiliye Dönemi şiir sanatı İslâmî devreye girişle Kur'ân-ı Kerim'in dil, eşsizlik ve mucizeliğinin anlaşılmasında çok önemli bir araç olmuş, insanlar dilde ileri oluşları sayesinde Kur'ân'ın dil mucizeliğini anlayabilmişlerdir. Ayrıca hayatlarını renklendiren bir edebi tür ve sanat olan şiirden tam istifade eder hale gelmişlerdir. Yine eskiden doğru-yanhş bir takım maksatlarla kullanılan ve icra edilen şiir sanatı Hz. Peygamber sayesinde din ve insanlığa hizmet eder bir araç haline gelerek doğru ve faydalı bir istikamete yönlendirilmiş ve yepyeni bir mecraya girmiştir.

SUMMARY This study, which is composed of five chapters, attempts to point out the functions of the art of poetry during the time of Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.) and to translate some pieces into Turkish. In the first chapter I deal with the Islamic of point view of poetry and its approach to this art in general and I tried to argue the allegations against the unfavourable influence of Islam on poetry. The second chapter, the relations between the style of the Koranic scriptures and the art of poetry are elucidated in several respects. In the third chapter, the main emphasis is placed on the Prophet's personal approach and attitude to poetry and his endavours to develop this genre into a means of service for all humanity and for the Islamic religion in particular. The fourth chapter is devoted to finding out how the attitude of the polythmfc people of the pre-Islamic time to poetry was changed by the adoption of Islam. The fourth chapter is devoted to pointing out the popularity of poetry among the polytheist people of the pre-Islamic time and to finding out whether their attitude to this art was changed following their conversion into Islam. I also attemped to study the new mission of the close friends of the Prophet as poets. The most well-known muslim poets of the time were introduced with some samples of their poems. In the fifth and last chapter I studied the lenguistic characterictics of the poetry of this period and its differences from that of the pre-Islamic time. I also pointed out the use of poetic art as a device of comparison. I have come to conclusion that the art of poetry was at a quite advanced level during the pre-Islamic period and with the introduction of Islam it became a very useful means in understanding the unsurpassed and miraculous style of Koran. Therefore, poetic devices which were employed for some evil and harmful purposes, now began to be used for more humanistic and blessed aspirations and was directed to an entirely new course.
