Özet
96 Ö Z E T Tesin konusu İmam Birgivi ve Sünnet' dir.Tez bir giriş ve üç bolünde a oluşmaktadır. Girişte Birgivi' nin hayatı, ilmi şahsiyeti, ilmi münakaşaları ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde sünnetin tadlan ve sünet islam dinindeki önemi anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci bolünde Birgivi'nin sünnet anlayışı anlatılmış,. bidrat konusu üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bolünde ise Birgivi' nin sünnet anlayışıyla bağlantılı olarak, sünnete' uygun görüşleri verilmiş,, etkilendiği ve etkilediği ulama sınıfı anlatılmıştır

85 SUMMARY The subject of this thesis is“Imam Birgivi and the Sunnah”. The thesis consists of introduction and three sections. In the introduction section information is given about Birgivi's life, his scientific cliaraetcr, scientilic debates and works. In the first section, it was tried to explain the deihnuon of the Sunnah and its importance in [slam Religion. In the second section, Birgivi's thought of Sunnah and the subject of Bid'at were explained. Also in the third section, his proper opinions about the Sunnah wliich are connected with his thought of the Sunnah are given and Muslim theologians and scholars who he both effected and was effected were explained.
