Özet
Bu çalışma edebi metinlerde özel isimlerin çevirisi ile ilgilidir. Çalışmanın merkezinde metnin tür ve üslup özelliklerine bağlı olarak özel isimlerin çeviri sorunu bulunmaktadır. Edebi eserlerin ad bilim sisteminin öğrenilmesi, metindeki gizli anlamların anlaşılmasına ve metnin anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamaktadır. Sanatsal eserlerdeki özel adın çevirisini yapmadan önce dikkat edilmesi gereken temel kural onların üslup fonksiyonlarının çeviri metninde korunmasıdır. Çalışmanın temel amacı: Sanatsal eserlerdeki özel adın türüne ve işlevine özgü olarak çevirisini belirlemek ve kaynak metin ile çeviri metni arasında sanatsal eserdeki özel adların yeterliliğe ulaşması için yollar belirlemek. Tez giriş, iki ana bölüm, sonuç ve kaynakçadan oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümü tez konusu seçiminin temellendirilmesinden, çalışmanın güncelliğinin ve bilimsel olarak yeniliğinin ortaya konmasından, teorik öneminden ve pratik değerinden, çalışmanın amaç ve hedeflerinin formüle edilmesinden oluşur. Birinci bölüm özel isim türleriyle, her şeyden önce özel ad bilimi ve onun bileşenleri; kişi ad ve soyadlarıyla ilişkilidir. İkinci bölüm özel isimlerin teorik problemleriyle, onların iletişim fonksiyonunda cins isimlerle ve özellikleriyle kıyaslanmasıyla ilişkilidir. Sonrasında özel ad biliminin sanatsal edebiyattaki rolü ve özel isimlerin kendine özgü olarak karakteristik bir kabul gibi kullanılması incelenir. Bunların edebiyatta koşullandırılmış kullanımı, sanatsal potansiyelleri ve sebebi ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın odak noktası özel isimlere ayrılan çevirinin, çeviri yöntem ve değerlerinin isteğe bağlı uygunluğunun yerine getirilmesinin incelenmesidir. Sonuç bölümünde uygulanan çalışmanın sonuçları özetlenmiştir. Özel isimlerin temel anlamsal özellikleri ve onların sanatsal eserdeki fonksiyonları vurgulanmıştır.

This study is about the translation of the proper names in literary works. There has been translation problem of the proper names at the center of study as depend on type and style features of text. That name science system of literary Works is learnt provides us to understand the text and to be understood hidden meaning of text. Before translate the proper name in artistic work, the basic rule which needs to be careful, their stylistic functions is to be protected in translation text. The basic aim of study is to be define its translation as peculiar to type and function of proper names in artistic Works and is to define ways to reach adequacy of proper names in artistic work between translation text and original text. Thesis is consist of introduction two main parts, result, and bibliography. In the content of introduction, there are reason of the subject of chosen text, currency of the study being new scientifically, theoretical importance and practice value of the study, determining of aim and goal. The first part is related to types of proper names, before everything, proper name science and its components; name and surname of person. The second part is related to theoretical problem of proper names, in their communication function with proper names and comparison of their features. And then, the usage of these names in literary Works and their artistic potentialities is examined. They have been conditioned by the usage of literary and their artistic potentials. At the center of study, there are the translation of semantic proper names and translation method and values. In result part, a result of study which is applied has been summarized. The basic semantic features of proper names and their functions in artistic work are emphasized.
