Özet
Tipografi, yazı tipi, punto büyüklüğü, satır uzunluğu, satır arası boşluk ve benzer etkenlerin kombinasyonları ile yapılır. Harf ve yazınsal-görsel iletişime ilişkin diğer elemanların hem görsel, fonksiyonel ve sanatsal düzenlemesi hem de bu elemanlarla oluşturulan bir tasarım dili, anlayışıdır. Tipografi yazı karakterleri, kitap, kitap kapakları, afiş, dergi, broşür, gazete, web sayfaları v.s. gibi her türlü alanda kullanılmıştır. Yazının bulunuşuyla birlikte farklı coğrafyada yaşayan insanlar arasında teknik alanda birçok ilerleme kaydedilmiş, bu teknik ilerleme nesilden nesile bir uygarlıktan diğer uygarlığa kadar aktarılmıştır. Yazının uygulanışından sonra ortaya çıkan teknik gelişmeler sayesinde tipografi sanatı ortaya çıkmış ve böylece tipografi sanatı teknik yöntemler sayesinde yazının genel uygulaması olmuştur. Böylece söz ve düşünceler tipografi sayesinde görsel kimliğe bürünerek insanlara ulaşmıştır. Grafik tasarım içerisinde tipografinin yeri ve önemi çok büyüktür. Modern sanatın doğuşundan günümüze hem sanatın hem de grafik tasarımının geldiği boyutlar hızla değişmekte ve her geçen gün yeni teknolojilerin üretilmesiyle hem günlük hayatımızın içinde, hem de tasarım dünyasının içinde değişimler yaşanmaktadır.Sanat her zaman sanatla beslenmiş, sanatçılarda başka sanatçıların buluşlarını olumlu ve olumsuz yönde kullanmışlardır. Modern sanatın öyküsü çoğu zaman 20. Yüzyılın başlarında ortaya çıkan Kübizm, Fütürizm, Dada, Sürrealizm, De Stijl, Süprematizm, Konstrüktivizm, Bauhaus gibi modern sanat akımları ele alınarak anlatılmış ve bu sebeple dönemin grafik tasarımını da yakından etkilemişlerdir.

Typography is with some similar factors just like combination of font, font size, line lenght, line spacing typography is design language understanding which created elements about letter and litarature. Visual commination This on design understanding is inter ested with fixation and creation of visual and artistic elements. Typography fonts, books, book covers, posters, magazines, brochures, newspapers, web pages etc suches are used in any area a with the discovery of writing a lot of progress in technical area between developed. Who people living different regions. This technical progress was tranferred by one generation to another technical developments transferred one civilization to other civilization. That was kept gone and gone thanks to the technical developments oceuring after the type of aplication and two emergethy typography has been the general practice of the summer thats to typography art technical methods. So thanks to typography words and thoghts cearhed people dressed up in a visual indetity. Typography art emerged thanks to the technical developments that arise after the implementation of the writing and thus typography art has been the writing of general application thanks to tecnical methods. So thanks to typography words and thougts reached people as in a visual identity. The importance of typography in graphic design is very great. From the birth of modern art to the present day the dimension of origin of both art and graphic design is changing rapidly and every day with the generation of new technologies both the generation of new technologies and in our daily lives experienced changes.Art has always been fed with art and artistic have been used the other artists inventions positive or negative way. İn the happining 20 th century the story of modern art often are told by art movements of Cubism, Futurism, dada, Surrealism, de Stijl, Suprematism, Constructivism, Bauhaus and were closely affected by the graffic design there fore period.
