Özet
Ülkemizde, her geçen gün daha gelişen inşaat sektörünün, önde gelen firmaları, üstlendikleri projeleri daha etkin sistemlerle yönetme gereklerini karşılayabilmek amacıyla ERP (Enterprise resource planning - Kurumsal kaynak planlama) sistemlerine olan ilgi ve ihtiyacları her geçen gün artmaktadır. Aynı zamanda, rekabet platformlarının global ölçeklere ulaşması sebebiyle daha etkin bir yönetim sistemine sahip olmanın değeri son yıllarda iyice anlaşılmaya başlanmıştır. Bununla beraber özellikle geçtiğimiz son birkaç sene içerisinde inşaat yatırımlarının yüksek seviyede seyretmesi sonucunda çok sayıda inşaat firması, ERP sistemlerine yatırım yapmıştır. Sonuçta ortaya çıkan tabloya bakıldığında yapılan bu yatırımların azımsanmayacak bölümünün başarısızlıkla sonuçlanabildiği görülmektedir. Nedenlerin, büyük bölümü inşaat firmalarının karakteristik özelliklerinden kaynaklanırken, bazen yanlış tercihlerin yapılması veya kullanım hataları gibi sebepler de uyarlama ve kullanıma geçiş projelerinin başarısını etkileyebilmektedir. ERP sistemlerinin sayısının artan bir ivmeyle yükseldiği bu günlerde firmaların seçimlerini ve aksiyonlarını doğru bir şekilde yapabilmeleri için bir kaynak oluşturulması amaçlanan bu çalışmada karşılaşılan muhtemel riskler ve sebepleri incelenmiştir.

In our country, leading firms of the construction industry that is growing everyday have a growing interest about the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems to manage their projects by the modern and effective methods. It has been well understood that to have a more effective management systems is much more important because of the terms of global competition in these years. On the other hand, dozens of construction companies, have invested in ERP systems as a result of the high levels of the construction investments in last years. But unfortunately the results of these investments indicates that so many of these companies failed about their ERP adaptation projects. Some of the leading construction companies that has large turnovers, had invested two or more different ERP systems. But none of them could be adapted to structure of their companies. In this study, it is aimed to define the reasons and the results of the incompleted adaptation and implementation processes and create useful cautions. The vast majority of the possible reasons are about the characteristics of construction companies and the construction industry as itself. On the other hand sometimes the main reason can be a wrong choice (about the ERP system selection), user mistakes or incorrect rules and they can effect the achivement of the implementation project. In these days that the number of ERP investments increased by a growing momentum, it is very important to take the right decision about the choice of ERP systems and getting actions. So, it is aimed to create an usefull source of information about the possible risks, the relationship between the cause results and some solution proposals in this study.
