Summary My study titled the relations between European Union and Cyprus consist of 4 chapter and a conclusion. The Introduction Chapter is constituted by five parts titled Ottoman Period In Cyprus, UK Period In Cyprus, Cyprus Republic Period, The Destruction Of Cyprus Republic and A Brief Evaliation From 1974 To The Present Time. In each part, I have tried to evaluate briefly and substantially the events happened in these periods. Within the Second Chapter, the Associated Agreement Relation which was Started between European Community and Cyprus in 1962, and how these relations have been realized so-called Cyprus Government which was only consisted of Greek Cypriots in 1973, and the aims, principles, putting into force, phases and organs of this Agreement, have been explained. The establishment of the Customs Union on 1 January 1988 between so-called Cyprus Government and European Union, the technical subjects like the general customs tariffs, removing of quantity reductions, agricultural productions and fiscal subsidies adopted by Cyprus Government and European Union for this aim, constituted the other subjects in the Second Chapter. The full membership application of Greek Administration of South Cyprus to the European Union, and the views of Turkish Part against this application, are emphasized in the Third Chapter. In the Fourth Chapter, the relations between European Union and Greek Administration Of South Cyprus, have been evaluated within the connection of impact to the Cyprus question solution in the interviews with President Mr. Rauf Denktaş and the political party leaders of T.R.N.C. In the last Chapter I tried to realize the value of my study. IM
