Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırmada Nefes ve Atak konusu ele alınmadan önce. ses ve sesin fiziksel özellikleri incelenmiştir. Sesin fiziksel olarak oluşabilmesi için gerekli şartlar anlatıldıktan sonra insan sesinin oluşumu ve ses üretiminde rol alan sistemler ve bu sistemlerin içinde yer alan organların görevleri anlatılmıştır. Daha sonra Nefes ve Atak konusuna geçilmiştir. Bu bölümde Nefes ve Atak konusu ayrıntıları ile incelenerek ses eğitimindeki önemi anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Konu içerisinde değişik uzmanların Nefes ve Atakla ilgili görüşlerine yer verilmiş ve çeşitli kaynaklardan alıntılar araştırma içinde yer almıştır. Böylece konunun ses eğitimindeki önemi ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Amerika Ulusal Ses Eğitimcileri Birliği eski başkanı olan William Vennard'ın yazmış olduğu“Singing”(The Mechanism and The Technic) isimli kitap en çok faydalanılan kaynak olmuştur.

ABSTRACT In this research, sound and the physical qualifications of sound are explored before the subject of breath and attack is taken into consideration. After the physical development of sound is explained, the systems that partake in the production of sound and the functions of the organs that partake in these systems are explained. Finally, the subject of breath and attack is discussed in a detailed way, and the importance of it in voice education is explained. Within the subject, I explore the ideas of various experts on breath and attack, and many references taken from several different sources are represented. I have attempted to bring to light the importance of this subject in voice education. The book,“Singing”(The Mechanism and Technic) written by the ex-president of the United States National Voice Educationalists Association, William Vennard, has been the most useful resource in my research. 11
