Özet
Bu çalışma, İç Anadolu Bölgesi'nde hemşirelik bölümü dördüncü sınıfta öğrenim gören öğrencilerde profesyonel benlik kavramı ve profesyonel değerlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla kesitsel tipte yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini 2013-2014 öğretim yılı güz döneminde, İç Anadolu Bölgesi il merkezlerindeki devlet üniversitelerinin hemşirelik bölümü dördüncü sınıfında öğrenim gören toplam 926 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Çalışmanın yapılabilmesi için izin alınan okullardan ulaşılan 619 öğrenci ise çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada etik kurul onayı ve bireylerden bilgilendirilmiş yazılı onam alınmıştır. Veriler; Öğrenci Bilgi Formu, Öğrenci Hemşirelerde Profesyonel Benlik Kavramı Ölçeği ve Hemşirelerin Profesyonel Değerleri Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Shapiro-Wilk testi, t testi, ANOVA ve Bonferroni testi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada öğrencilerin Öğrenci Hemşirelerde Profesyonel Benlik Kavramı Ölçeği toplam ve alt boyutları ile Hemşirelerin Profesyonel Değerleri Ölçeği toplamından orta düzeyde yüksek puanlar aldıkları saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin tanıtıcı özelliklerine ve meslekle ilgili düşüncelerine göre Öğrenci Hemşirelerde Profesyonel Benlik Kavramı Ölçeği alt boyutları ve Hemşirelerin Profesyonel Değerleri Ölçeği toplamından aldıkları puanlar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Çalışmanın sonucuna göre; lisans eğitimi süresince profesyonellik, profesyonel benlik, profesyonel değerler gibi konulara yer verilmesi ve öğrencilerin profesyonel benlik kavramları ile profesyonel değer algılarının geliştirilmesine yönelik çalışmaların yapılması yönünde önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

This study was conducted as cross-sectional to identify the professional self-concept and professional values among the senior students at the department of nursing in the Middle Anatolian Region. The extent of the study is composed of 926 senior students in total who studied in the departments of nursing in the state universities in central Middle Anatolian Region during the fall season in the academic year of 2013 through 2014. For the study to be carried out, the sampling of the study is made up of 619 students who the author managed to reach at the schools for which the permission to conduct the study was granted. The confirmation from the board of ethics and informed written consent from the individuals were taken for the study. The data were collected using the Student Information Form, Nursing Students' Professional Self Concept Scale and Nursing Professional Values Scale. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk test, t test, ANOVA and Bonferroni test were employed. In the study, it is determined that the students had moderately higher points of the total point and sub-dimensional points of Nursing Students' Professional Self Concept Scale and the total point of Nursing Professional Values Scale. A statistically significant difference was found (p<0.05) between the points the students received from the subdimensions of Nursing Students' Professional Self- Concept Scale and Nursing Professional Values Scale by means of their descriptive characteristics and occupational thoughts. Depending on the results of the study, suggestions were made for the inclusion professional self concept, professional values and professionalism in the curriculum throughout the undergraduate study and for conducting studies to promote the professional self concept in students and their perception of professional values.
