Özet
Bu tez 19. yüzyılın ilk yarısında Tokat kazasında kullanılan ev eşyalarının tespitini ve bunların analitik olarak sosyal ve ekonomik açıdan değerlendirilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, Tokat Şer'iye Sicilleri içerisinden sondaj metoduyla seçilen 15(H 1226-27; M 1811-12), 20 (H 1230-31; M 1815-16), 25 (H 1234; M 1819), 30 (H 1241-42; M 1826), 35 (H 1245-46; M 1829-30), 40 (H 1250-51; M 1835), 50 (H 1253-54; M 1838), 55 (H 1257-58; M 1841-42) ve 60 numaralı (H 1266; M 1849-50) defterlerden faydalanılmıştır. Tezde, dokuz şer'iye sicil defterinde kayıtlı toplam 746 tereke kaydı incelenmiştir. İncelenen tereke kayıtları yardımı ile 1811-1850 yılları arasında kullanılan ev eşyalarının çeşitleri adetleri belirlenmiş ve birim fiyatları hesaplanmıştır. Çalışma iki bölüme ayrılmıştır. Birinci bölümde Tokat ve tarihi, şer'iye sicilinin tanımı ve içeriği ile Osmanlı yargı sistemi hakkında açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Devamında ise sicillerde yer alan tereke kayıtları, terekenin tanımı ve kapsamı, mirasçılar ve terekenin taksimi ve terekelerde miras olarak bırakılan taşınır veya taşınmaz mallar incelenmiştir. Ayrıca konu ile ilgili bir literatür değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise tezin esas konusu olan 19. yüzyılın ilk yarısına ait olan tereke kayıtlarında miras olarak bırakılan ev eşyaları, çeşit, adet ve ekonomik değer durumlarına göre ele alınmıştır. Ev eşyalarına ait bilgiler Excell tablolarında verilere dönüştürülmüş daha sonra ana eşya kategorileri oluşturularak her bir kategori için çıkan sonuçlar üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca terekelerde geçen teknik terimlere dayanılarak hazırlanan sözlük çalışmanın sonuna ilave edilmiştir.

This thes is aims to determine house goods used in the district of Tokat during the first half of the 19th century and being evalueted analithically in terms of social and economic aspects of these goods. In this thesis study, there are used from the court registers of 15(H 1226-27; M 1811-12), 20 (H 1230-31; M 1815-16), 25 (H 1234; M 1819), 30 (H 1241-42; M 1826), 35 (H 1245-46; M 1829-30), 40 (H 1250-51; M 1835), 50 (H 1253-54; M 1838), 55 (H 1257-58; M 1841-42) and 60 (H 1266; M 1849-50) numbers, which are selected among the court registers of Tokat according to the sounding method. In our study, 746 estate records in total recorded in nine court registers have been examined. With the help of estate records examined.We have determined the numbers and kinds of house goods used between the years of 1811 and 1850, and also calculated their unit prices. Our study is divided into to chapters. In the first chapter, there exist information on the general history of Tokat, the definition and content of court registers, and Ottoman law system. In the following, genel explanations on the definition and content of estate records in court registers, distribution of estate goods to inheritors, transpotable or intranspotable goods have been given. In addition, a literatüre evaluation related to the subject has been made. In the second chapter, house goods seen in estate records of the 19th century, which are main materials for our subjet, have been evaluated in terms of kind, number and economic value. Firstly information related to house goods have been transformed, into data in Excell tables and then main goods catagories formed, later results for each catagory evaluated. In addition, a dictionary prepared according to the tecnichal terms in estate record has been added to the thesis.
