Özet

ÖZET Bu araştırmada, 1990-1992 yıllan arasında Bursa ve civarından temin edilen 66 dişi ve 34 erkek olmak üzere 100 sokak kedisi helmintolojik yönden incelenmiştir. Sokaktan yakalanan kediler laboratuvara getirildikten sonra cinsiyet ve yaş durumları belirlenmiş, dışkı muayenesi ile taşıdıkları helmint türleri saptanmıştır. Daha sonra otopsi yapılan kedilerin sindirim sistemi, karaciğer, akciğer, kalp, pankreas, dalak, böbrekler, idrar kesesi, karın boşluğu ve deri altı dokuları helmintolojik yönden incelenmiştir. Çıplak göz ve/veya stereo mikroskop muayenesinde helmintler % 0.9'luk fizyolojik tuzlu suya toplanmış, nematodlar % 70'lik alkolde, trematod ve cestodlar % 10'luk formolde tesbit edilmiştir. Nematodlar laktofenolde şeffaflandınldıktan, trematod ve cestodlar boraxh karmen ile boyandıktan sonra mikroskopta incelenmiş, cins ve tür teşhisleri yapılarak sayılmıştır. İncelenen 100 kediden 89' unun helmint türleri ile enfekte olduğu belirlenmiş, bunlardan 14 (%14)'ünde Metorchis albidus. 65 (%65)'inde Dipylidium caninum. 33 (%33)'ünde Joyeuxiella pasqualei, 12 (%12)'sinde Diplopylidium nölleri. 3 (%3)'ünde Taenia taeniaeformis. 54 (%54)'ünde Toxocara mvstax. 3 (%3)'ünde Physaloptera praeputialis ve 9 (%9)'unda Ollulanus tricuspis bulunmuştur. Kedilerden yirmi beşinde 1, otuz ikisinde 2, yirmi yedisinde 3, üçünde 4, birinde 5, birinde 6 tür miks enfeksiyon şeklinde saptanmıştır. Enfekte 89 kediden 304 adet trematod, 5955 adet cestod, 1878 adet nematod toplanmış olup nematodlardan 733 'ü erkek, 1 107'si dişi, 38'i larvadır. Helmintlerden M.albidus (trematod) 'un yurdumuz kedilerinde varlığı ilk kez bu araştırma ile ortaya konmuştur.

SUMMARY A Helminthological Survey in Cats in Bursa and It's Vicinity İn this study, totaly 100 of which 66 female and 34 male cats obtained from Bursa province and it's vicinity were examined for helminth infections between 1990-1992. After bringing of the stray cats to the laboratory and detection of the sex and the ages, a coprologic examination was performed to identified the helminth species. Then, at the necropsicies the gastro-intestinal tract, liver, lungs, the heart, pancreas, spleen, the kidneys, urinary bladder, peritoneal cavity and the subcutaneous tissues were examined for the related helminths. The parasites were collected firstly into physiological saline solution and then, the nematodes in 70 % alcohol, trematodes and cestodes in 10 % formaline were fixed. The genus and the species identification of the parasites were done after the lactophenol transparency for nematodes and borax carmine staining of cestodes and nematodes under the microscope. And, the number of parasites was counted. Eightynine out of 100 cats were found to be infected with helminth species. The collected parasites were identified as follows : Metorchis albidus 14 ( 14%), Dipylidium caninum 65 (65%), Joyeuxiella pasqualei 33 (33%), Diplopylidium nölleri 12 (12%), Taenia taeniaeformis 3 (3%). Toxocara mystax 54 (54%), Physaloptera praeputialis 3 (3%) and Ollulanus tricuspis 9 (9%). One, two, three, four, five and six different helminth species were encountered as mix infections in 25, 32, 27, 3, 1 and 1 cats respectively. Totaly 304 trematodes, 5955 cestodes and 1878 nematodes of which 733 male, 1107 female and 38 larvae, were collected from 89 infected cats. Metorchis albidus was detected for the first time in cats in Turkey.
