The aim of the study is to investigate burnout level of English teachers who work in English preparatory schools of Universities and determine if there is a meaningful relationship between teachers' burnout levels depending their age, gender, marital status, seniority in profession, educational background. In order to carry the research, the participants of the study were selected from only English teachers who work in preparatory school of Universities in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The research was carried out with the participation of 90 teachers. The study was conducted during 2013-2014 academic year. The participants were asked to fill in the Burnout scale and information form used to collect data. The quantitative data which was gathered via the questionnaire were analysed through SPSS 20 (Statistical package for the social sciences) program was used. In order to find out what the level of instructors' burnout is and whether there is a statistically significant difference between burnout levels and participants' age, gender, marital status, seniority in profession, educational background (Bachelor of Arts) The results of the study produce that the teachers' burnout level is between 0 and 35. This degree indicates No Feelings of Burnout Level. Moreover, the study explains that there is no meaningful difference between teachers' burnout level and their demographic features such as age, gender, marital status, seniority in profession, and educational background.
