Islamic banking is growing at rapid pace all over the world especially in Islamic countries. In such situations, it becomes important to identifY the reasons or factors that have played a key role in growth and development of these banks. The chosen Islamic bank is called Kuwait Islamic Bank in KOCAELI which is the first Islamic bank in Turkey. It started its business in 1989. This bank is not only the biggest Islamic bank in Turkey but it is also one of the biggest Islamic banks of the world. It offers modern banking services to its customers in Turkey and has a widely spread network of branches in Turkey. The bank gives importance to all of its stakeholders including its employees who are provided regular training with an aim to increase their productivity. The bank has always increased its profit levels and has increased customers' loyalty. This study will explore the reasons or factors that have played a vital role in growth and development of Islamic banks all over the world in general and in Turkish market in particular. The researcher collected data through interviews with officials of Kuwait Islamic Bank and surveys with customers. There are many factors that have collectively contributed towards success of Islamic banks all over the world These factors include increased demand from Muslim customers, economic growth if Islamic block, provision of good products and services, higher levels of customers' satisfaction and provision of efficient services. Customers' positive attitudes, good products and services and customers' satisfaction has been one of the major reasons behind growth of business performance of Kuwait Islamic Bank
