Tauberian conditions, depending on a parameter, for the recovery of convergence out of summability need not to be Tauberian conditions for some limiting values of the parameter. This motivates thefollovving question: Are there some more general summability methods for \vhich the limiting case would become a Tauberian condition for the behavior of {Sn(a)} *? A general summability method is designed and some related Tauberian theorerns are established. The generaİized Abel summability method is obtained as a special case of the generaİized summability method and the generaİized Littlewood theorem is proved for those summability methods. Furthermore, Tauberian theorerns corresponding to (C, m)-summability methods are given and some convergence theorerns are presented.
