Özet
Doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları (DYSY), firmaların merkezlerinin bulunduğu yer dışındaki ülkelere bir firmayı satın alma, yeni kurulacak bir firma için kuruluş sermayesi sağlama veya mevcut bir firmanın sermayesini artırarak kendine bağlı duruma getirme yollarıyla yaptıkları yatırımdır. DYSY, ev sahibi ülkeye getirdiği sermaye, teknoloji ve yönetimle ilgili kaynakların dolaylı etkileri sonucunda GOÜ'deki verimliliğin artmasına, teknoloji ve işletmecilik bilgisi getirerek işletmelerin modernleşmesine, maliyetlerin düşmesine, teknolojinin gelişmesine, ülkede sabit sermaye stoğunun artmasına, rekabetin gelişmesine, ödemeler dengesi açığının azalmasına, iç piyasada dinamizmin artmasına, teknik eleman ve yönetici açığının azalmasına ve istihdamın artmasına katkıda bulunması bakımından önem arzetmektedir. Doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları ve yabancı sermayenin Türkiye ekonomisi üzerine etkilerinin incelendiği bu çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde; doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları ve yabancı sermayenin Türkiye ekonomisi üzerine etkileri incelenecektir. Çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde; dünyada doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları ele alınacaktır. Beşinci bölümde ise Türkiye'de doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları ve ekonomi üzerindeki etkisi işlenecektir.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is the investment that a company contstitutes to the countries outside the location in home country through buying a company, providing the initial capital for a company to be established or making an existing company to be connected to itself by increasing its capital. FDI is important in terms of contributing to increase in productivity in the developing countries, modernizating the enterprises by bringing the information of technology and management, to decrease the costs, to develop the technology, to increase the capital stock in the country, to develop the competition, to decrease in the balance of payments deficit, to increase the dynamism in the domestic market, to reduce the deficit of technical staff and managers, and to increase the employment as a result of indirect effects of resources related to capital, technology and management brought to the host country, In the 3rd chapter of this study that FDI and the effects of foreign investment (FI) on Turkish economy are examined, the concepts of FDI and FI will be studied. In the 4th chapter, FDI in the World will be studied. In the 5th chapter, FDI and its impact on the economy in Turkey will be examined.
