Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı öğretim yöntemleri ile işlenen basketbol dersinin öğrencilerin psikomotor alan erişi düzeylerine etkisi olup olmadığının araştırılmasıdır. Araştırma, gerçek deneme modellerinden ön test-son test model 2 gruplu model kullanılarak desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2013-2014 ve 2014-2015 öğretim yılı güz döneminde Gazi Üniversitesi, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümü'nde öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmuştur. Örneklemini ise; yine 2013-2014 ve 2014-2015 öğretim yılı güz döneminde öğrenim görmekte olan ve Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümü'nde basketbol dersini alan 60 1. Sınıf erkek öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Dersi alan 2013-2014 öğretim yılı güz dönemi öğrencilerinden, rastgele (Random) atama yöntemi kullanılarak, bir grup Spor Eğitim Modelinin uygulanacağı model 1 grubu; 2014-2015 öğretim yılı güz dönemi öğrencilerinden bir grup da Doğrudan Eğitim Modeli'nin uygulanacağı model 2 grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Model 1 ve model 2 grubunun her ikisi de 30'ar kişiden oluşmuştur. Çalışmanın başında ve sonunda model 1 ve model 2 gruplarındaki öğrencilerin psikomotor alan gelişimlerini belirlemek amacı ile Yrd. Doç. Dr. Seyfi SAVAŞ tarafından geliştirilen gözlem formundan yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS 15.0 paket programı kullanılmış ve istatistiksel işlemlerde anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 olarak alınmıştır. Model 2 ve model 1 gruplarının kendi içindeki gelişimlerini belirleyebilmek için; aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma ve bağımlı gruplar t testinden yararlanılmıştır. Model 2 ve model 1 gruplarının erişi değerleri arasında fark olup olmadığının belirlenmesi için; aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma ve bağımsız gruplar t testinden faydalanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; model 1 ve model 2 grubu öğrencilerinin psikomotor alana ait erişi düzeyleri arasında model 2 grubu lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark elde edilmiştir.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of basketball classes taught through different education models on psychomotor achievement skills of students. Research was designed as a real experiment model utilizing pre-test/post-test control group model. The population of the research was composed of students who are studying School of Physical Education and Sport, Department of Physical Education Teaching at Gazi University in the fall semester of 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 educational year. The sample of the study consisted of the 60 first year male students attending basketball classes in the Department of Physical Education Teaching. The part of the students who are studying in the Department of Physical Education Teaching in the fall semester of 2013-2014 educational year were assigned randomly to the Modal 1 group in which Sports Education Model was used and the part of the students who are studying in the Department of Physical Education Teaching in the fall semester of 2014-2015 educational year were assigned to Modal 2 group which used Direct Instruction Model. Both of the groups were composed of 30 persons. Forms developed by the Asst. Prof. Seyfi SAVAŞ were used to identify the development of students in the psychomotor domains both at the beginning and end of the study. SPSS 15.0 package program was used in the analysis of the collected data and the level of significance was assumed as 0.05 in statistical analysis. Arithmetic means, standard deviation and paired sample t-test were utilized in order to identify the ingroup development of control and experimental groups. Arithmetic means, Standard deviation and independent groups t-test were utilized to determine whether there was a difference between the achievement levels of modal 1 and modal 2 groups.In conclusions, statistically significant differences were observed in favor of the modal 2 group in psychomotor domain achievement levels.
